Very useful series 👍🏻 is it always good practice to use 4x2 for the floors / stud walls or would 2x1 work? I’m assuming because the insulation is 100mm, 4x2 is preferred. Mainly need to use 2x1 for the floor to save the height. It’s a garage gym conversion so anything higher and the rack wouldn’t fit

Not sure if you look at comments on older vids, but please, if you do i have a couple of questions. The start of the vid went so quickly.. what size fixings are you using for the batten? Im planning to do something similer to our garage. I need to bring the floor up, i was planning on using 6x2s for the battens with joist holders. Then 3x2s c24 for the joists. With a small batten underneath the frame to support the 75mm foam insulation
