That started life as an Orange Krate and a Lemon Peeler over 30 years ago, both had been sitting outside in an old shed for many years and were in deplorable condition. I traded a couple of Red Line Hot Wheels for the two, then made the one bike. I painted it Kandy Apple Red, it's really starting to show its age. It still rides great tho!

No, I always wanted a Schwinn Krate, but my folks could not afford it. (I had a Sears "Gremlin", which was still a pretty cool muscle bike!) I always wanted one, and a buddy of mine had the two in his shed that I built that from, they were his childhood bikes! The newer OCC Chopper my wife gave me for Christmas several years back, I saw it sitting in front of a Pawn Shop! I have an original girls Sears "Spyder" that I picked up maybe 15 years ago from the original owner!
