Thanks, we are at the start of the fall/winter season. I want to go the next step and have my lube techs check for quality of the antifreeze. When should it be changed & when should we do a drain & fill or a flush and fill. What to look for grit in the radiator cap. When do we need to check for PH?

What if pressure testing didn’t find any issues but I’m still losing coolant? Is that even possible?

The coolant dye was how I found the hairline crack in my Pontiac timing chain cover gasket. 231 series 3 V6.

@@Proudarse Put coolant leak detector dye into the coolant bottle, and top off the coolant. Drive the vehicle for X amount of miles, then get out the black light. Put on yellow goggles, and the coolant leak will show up under the ultra violet black light.
