Yeah definitely. I know they sell stuff on mercari, but it would be cool to see what they do with all these finds. Also would be interested to see which clubs they keep and what's in the collection. I've seen where people use coke a cola & steel wool to get the rust off and it works great.

I just lost my set of those irons last week in a wreck. Only the 3 iron survived lol. But me and my pup made it out safe so golf clubs can be replaced

Watching a restoration would be cool. I do tons of those myself. I love the flea market here in Yuma and get lots of clubs for $1-2 each. Most of them have some amount of rust. I use a mixture of white vinegar and regular table salt to soak the heads. It removes the rust really well if you leave them soaking overnight. Either a rough rag or a light rub with steel wool will remove the rust. My coolest find was an old '60s Wilson Arnold Palmer Signature pitching wedge with the original leather grip. Soaked the head, took leather cleaner/restorer to the grip and it looks like new!

John your comment about your Titleist divots got me thinking. Forged clubs get out of alignment quite easily. You should get the lie angles on those clubs checked and adjusted for lie angle. And by the way those of us who have been golfing for 30 or 40 years really enjoy that wooden bat sound you mentioned from the driver. That is the sound that comes from hitting a persimmon driver on the screws.

Jon on the shaft just use some steel wool to get rid of the rust. But I am sure you have other tricks to clean up the clubs. I would be cool to see you restore some of the clubs!! I didn't realize wind. You all could say "make it happen" or "get er done"!! Nice cheap Ashley!!

Those Titleist clubs were a steal for $15!!! My best friend played on our college golf team...and I have never known him to play anything but their clubs. I know when I last went back to my hometown and played a couple of rounds with him, he was using those exact irons. I didn't bring my clubs so he let me use his 1990's era DCI irons and his 3 wood...since I didn't use a driver back then, and still don't... I use a 3 wood off the tee. I tried them on the driving range and those are some excellent irons!

Man yall find the coolest stuff. Gated community garage sales are where its at. Love the Titleist irons. I just picked up a nice Bag of clubs this weekned, consisted of R11 irons, handful of Taylormade drivers inside a Ricki Fowler Puma bag. Great video, I smashed the like button.

My 1st set when I started golfing again in 2014 was the 990's .99c a piece at goodwill. Found a full set of irons and old Cleveland wedges at the GW. Then in 2016 I played with 690 cb forged. Awesome clubs even to play as 2nd hand. I also played a set of those Warbirds driver 3w and 5w too with the 990 setup.

I think restoring those clubs would be awesome. Speaking of that. I have thought about a set of DCI's. I remember in 93-94 they were the clubs to have when I worked at Meadow Brook C.C. in Tulsa, Ok. The 690CB's were my first forged clubs, they prompted me to try the 690MB's which I loved. A set with no face wear is amazing.

I currently use the 690 CBIrons 4-PW and the 905R driver, 980F 3wood and 904F 5wood along with Vokey 54, 58, 64 degree wedges. Absolutley Amazing Clubs. Nice to see them in use

Hey guys, just recently found you and love the videos. Lived in PO from ‘04 to ‘08. Was a greens keeper at the fly in (Spruce Creek). It’s semi-private, so you guys should go play one day.
