Brilliant job Team DirtBoss! Good to see the setup from start to finish. Marking out, and then building up the pad with crusher run. A lot of people would not know where to start with a job like this. Now they know. Achieving that accuracy and finish is however, very difficult. Your years of experience shows. Them Mossies though- they look brutal trying to eat your camera and all...

Nice to see father and son on the same job site. I'm about to buy my own dump truck and my father is going to ride along with me sometimes, which is reversed because about 40 years ago he was the driver and I was the passenger

D-Boss! Nice job…kid is getting big and tall! My daughters would come with me when they were your son’s age and I’d put them in the equipment and teach them and would be pumped thinking they would take over one day so big pappy could slow down and just run dump truck….then they became teenagers….welp guess they’ll just sell all my junk!

When you explained what you were doing, and you said four loads of crusher run, I thought you would more than enough...... how wrong was I !!!! 🤦♂️ Didn't seem to be much of a slope when you started, by the end of the video it was clear to see !!! Great to see Max out operating his (not yours anymore) roller, he is picking up the skill job by job Mike, you are teaching him well !! 😁🤓 Oh, and all those flies...... 😬😬😬😬😬

@@DIRT-BOSS can they be used in Hamilton County (Indian Lake)? Where do you get them?
Your 22 tons per load works out to just over 16 cubic yards loose volume, may be a little over weight? What can that truck legally haul in New York? Here it would be only 14 CYs and dry dirt at that. 500 views in first 45 minuets not bad at all. Little Dirt Boss good job.

why didn't you bring the high end to the low end so the stone would have been same thickness all over ?seams like a waste of stone
@brendenwaggy4862Ай бұрын
I'm in a similar situation with my project, and I'm doing the same thing he's doing in this video. Reason for not cutting from the high and building up the low in my case is because I'd be cutting below grade creating a below grade building pad. And even if I were to do this and build up with gravel, it's still going to take the same amount of gravel regardless to get the whole pad above grade. Plus filling with gravel and compacting ensures a stable base, whereas building up with topsoil on one end runs the risk of future settlement. Its expensive, but buy once cry once. Hope that kinda explains it.
