On This week's episode we replace our old, boring, original air vents for these replacement turbo units from AM off road. We have had our eyes on these for a while, as our interior is desperately in need of a refresh. Luckily for us, the wait was over and we installed these in less than an hour - and what a difference they make. Absolutely changes the entire interior of the vehicle, let alone also makes the air vents more functional with a better closing mechanism as well as an easier way to point and direct air flow. I have these vents, but obtained mines via Carobotor when I purchased my J-Pro odometer. Wasn’t going to use the at first, but after slightly damaging one tab on one of the factory vent figured why not. Have to say I’m happy that I did. Jeep has a whole new feel to it. And best part is the J-Pro can control and program the lights for the vents.

@@AyooJetSetter luv it. Worth every penny. I recently had the check engine light come on, and not only did it give me the error code, but what the problem was. Saved me the trouble of having to run a diagnostic, and do the repair myself. Only complaint is the Batman cam. My complaint is I don’t use my hardtop, I have a fastback soft top year round, so I have to find another way or fabricate a mount for it, but the video quality is amazing with the K1.

Solid idea. With our solar hood, it's almost like having a second battery. We never have issues since it constantly recharges the battery (and is 100watts)

I bought this and installed it in the 2008 jk and the button to change the color won’t work but the lights turn on but are stuck blue is there something i can connect to the module of the vent led lights to control it a different way?

I have an 08 JK and ordered these from another vendor. I cannot get them to fit in the holes. How did you do it? Did you force them in? Any damage?

@@rich8427 i shaved the fins down with a dremel the vents stick out a bit maybe 1/8 inch but they will lock into place

I will try that. been doing other mods. did the Carobotor gauge mod-non steering control version. watch out for that. there is almost no customer support and you cannot resell it to anyone once it is locked into your jeep system. one mod I love tho, the Kenwood 10.1 head system. working great so far.

I think $400 for something that is purely cosmetic on a jeep is NUTZ! Spend it on something that improves something!

I mean, if you think about it, you spend hundreds and thousands of hours inside the jeep. It makes a huge difference cosmetically. Oh also, way easier to adjust flow of air too. It's more of a focused beam of air if that makes sense

Not trying to be mean and they were being very nice to you about this. But $400 on something cosmetic that actually helps in the long run is actually well worth the money. and if something like that is too expensive for you then just don't get a Jeep. because I guarantee if you get one you're going to want to mod it. And to be honest as a jeep owner myself. What we decide to put on our Jeeps is purely for us and not for anyone else. The fact that they are on here showing what they do to theirs is only helping those of us who want to improve our own Jeeps. That we can do it without spending more money than we want too.
