"kipping muscle-ups" - that explains the hole in the ceiling. The price for the rack in insane, and bench is just out of this world. Can you attach safeties to this rack? P.S. Great review by the way.
@GarageGymReviews7 жыл бұрын
Haha that hole is actually from running audio cable. I need to repair it but have been putting it off. Yes, you can attach Spotter Arms to it.

I just hope they incorporate an incline and decline feature to the fold away bench in the near future.

Suggested Improvements: multi-grip pull up bar (now available), an adjustable incline/decline bench that folds away, quick fold down spotter arms. I’m probably going to buy this rack (minus the bench) later this year when I finish building my new house.
@dustinmcd917 жыл бұрын
I wish someone would mimic that bench design, but have it where it bolts to the bottom cross bars of a R3/T3 and flips towards the back when needed. would be like a hybrid of this and the rogue bench you have
@GarageGymReviews7 жыл бұрын
That would be pretty sweet. May be worth a shot to send into Rogue or Titan as a product idea!
@dustinmcd917 жыл бұрын
CoopTrains I may to Titan so I could actually afford one if they built it lol

You know to improve stability, I'd probably add some seats at the bottom of those tubes that fold up. Just fasten them to a hinged board that folds up running the full width at the bottom. You're probably going to see a huge improvement on lateral stability.

This might be a longshot, but could you do a video on what attachments we can use on the PRX? I saw your DIY Lat Pulldown and was wondering if the rogue top beam would fit in between the prx pro rack. Thanks for always giving us great content!

If that bench could be adjusted to different angles it would be incredible, and if they had a premium bench option or something. Plus add some attachments like a dip bar and safeties (which I assume would be avaliable) and it's a perfect compact gym
@GarageGymReviews7 жыл бұрын
They actually have those attachments. But yeah, if it could be an FID Bench, it would definitely be a game changer!

Coop! My wife and I have recently started building our home gym and your videos have been great! In fact, I've never considered reaching out to someone on KZbin before watching your reviews. Based on your videos we've narrowed down our rack choice between Rogue's full folding rack and this PRX PRO rack. With that said, do you know if Titan's lever arms fit on the Profile Pro? I know the titan arms are cheap, but I like that I can remove them by pulling a pin when I want to pack everything up. Thoughts?
@realsasank6 жыл бұрын
Great review Coop! Still on the fence whether to buy it or not due to cost concern but your review answers most of the questions I had regarding this rack. The only other thing I wish the bench has was whether it could be put in an incline position.

I love my prx squat short rack. I havr the 3x3. I would like to know if I can add leverage arms to it? If not I been really thinking of selling it to get a different rack that can take more attachments. I heve 3 car garage and don't park cara inside. Just got prx for the clean look I guess. But I have space for a half rack or even a full rack
@futbol19722 жыл бұрын
Should I do rack pulls on my prx rack with the spotter arms or will this be bad for the bolts on wall?? I don't want them to get loose over time. I have two buldging disk so I wanna start doing rack pulls instead of deadlifts. There is someone who wants to buy it and will sell it if I can't do rack pulls on it to get rep fitness rack

How is it benching with the spotter arms in place? It doesn’t quite look like the holes go down far enough to use the spotter arms for bench. I would hate to buy this and find out they wouldn’t work because the bar would sit too high when benching.
@GarageGymReviews6 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I do not have the spotter arms.
@stevenrobare66685 жыл бұрын
If you honestly think the rogue fold away rack takes that long to setup you've either never used one or have no mechanical abilities...I can set mine up in less than a minute...and for the cost of the PRX system you can get the rogue or titan rack and have money left to spend elsewhere...

I'd use it solely as a squat rack...add foot long safety arms...but wouldn't add the bench as there is no way to add safety bars or straps. Especially when you're training alone and heavy. Rather have a 4 post rack for that.

Thanks for the review. I was debating on either the rogue or the prx squat rack. I live in Hawaii and prx’s shipping and handling prices are expensive. Fortunately, I found a fitness equipment store that sells the 2x3 prx version.

I should’ve listened to your advice. I purchased the rogue rml-3wc, and have been using it for the past 3 months. Opening it and closing it was becoming a chore. Then one day, I was checking out Facebook marketplace, and someone was selling a prx pro rack. I thought about your review and I bought it. I should’ve listened to your advice. Oh well, lesson learned. I was thinking about buying the rogue monster monolift attachment. Would it fit on the prx pro squat rack? Anyways, thank you.

Hey Coop, I'm curious if the PRx PRO Profile Rack is compatible with any of Rogue's Monster Lite accessories? e.g. dip bar, landmine, etc... I need a new rack and I'm leaning towards getting the PRx PRO Profile Rack, but I already have a few Rogue rack accessories that I don't want to have to re-purchase from PRx.
@GarageGymReviews6 жыл бұрын
It should be considering the holes and uprights are the same size.
@chubbie8886 жыл бұрын
The PRX pro rack has 1 inch holes compared to the regular PRX rack, which has 5/8” holes. So I think the rogue monster line would fit. I’m thinking of getting a rogue monster monolift attachment for my PRX pro rack, but I’m a little hesitant because I haven’t seen anyone do this yet. Coop, do you think the rogue monster monolift attachment work with the PRX pro?

Don't get me wrong.. I really like it. However, there are way much cheaper alternatives out there, including Rouge Fitness. I even think I can import from china and still be cheaper with the same, if not even better, quality. I am not sure, but I think if you approach respectable fabricators like Ralph Crepinsek you might get the same design cheaper. In the end it is up to the buyer and their budget.
