I tried something different this time, but I hope you liked it! Any feedback is welcome. Was the music too loud? Did you miss the narrative from last videos? Pepsi or coke? Too many questions?

@@terencedubay thank you! It was just a cheap axe from store I bought, like 10 euros

Nicely done! I took a forging class and made a similar Viking Axe of Damascus twisted steel W5 and 1095. I put a 1095 hardened bit in the edge and flame hardened the entire handle, and wrapped it in leather as well for the grip. It's one of my best homemade projects. Now to go wath the entire 8 seasons of Vikings again!!! LOL

Thank you very much for your feedback! I'll try to find more relaxing & quiet music next time, I'm using my phone to record so the tool sounds alone might sound boring. And I already have few projects ready and I'll release the videos later, just going to finish two builds, hopefully soon!

The only thing I think could be improved is if you adhered the conic wedge to the top plate before putting it in it would have a stronger bond. Other than that it looks amazing, great work man

Do you mean the paint? It's primer spray paint, that will stick better than normal spray. I've had many failed projects myself so I understand your worry :) You cand try the etching on some junk piece first so it won't matter if something goes wrong

wonderful skills you have brother,i need some tips maybe you can help,i bought a light weight Hand-Forged Viking Battle Axe Head from amazon i want to put it on a walking stick or staff,im 6.2 so it needs to be a tall piece of wood,im in texas and we have tons of yaupons so theres millions of shapes and heights,i found one that was ideal and cut it down and put the axe head on it while it was still green and hammered in a round metal piece like you used to hold it on,i got them from amazon too haha but two swings on a tree and it came lose should i have waited till the yaupon was dry im thinking or would maybe oak work better do you know.i do have a yaupon walking stick that ive had for 14 yrs its solid and tough, anyways its just for mainly walking but i would like to cut something small with it at least you know gaaa lee ,any ideas on the wood, the hole in the metal head is pretty small it's not like your axe head that has a slanted hole anyways thanks if you have tips.
