Thanks for the tip 🤔 that radiator looks sweet and fits perfectly in the space. I might try it out🤓

I hope you can get your money back for the first radiator kit...the one mocked up in the bus looks to be far superior...good luck with the swap and keep posting new videos.

However I will say that in my setup I had to remove the cheap fans and install high output two speed 21 amp fans to get the air flow needed

I watch your videos too, awesome build.

That 1st radiator was a kit? Oh no you need a refund. Yikes 😮 that's terrible.

Can you provide a contact to where you got the good radiator kit?

I’m also interested in where you ordered the good kit. It sounds like LO speed but I can’t anything. Or fellowsspeed but I don’t see a radiator on their site

Hi Mike. Please can you provide me the details of where to buy a kit like this? Thanx so much.

Hey Mike, how far below the frame rails does the fellows radiator hang?

Hey mate, I have an EJ25 powered Bay window here in Australia and have gone with the 2x Honda Civic radiators/fans in the engine bay. Can you tell me your thought process as to belly mounted vs engine bay? I'm sitll in the process of figuring out how to run it most efficiently but it works well in our Summer so far, just is a bit more awkward than I'd like! Cheers!

how does the air get to the fans & then where does it go for your engine bay set up?
@kiel73045 жыл бұрын
@@kevindougherty593 Air comes down through the vents like it does normally, but goes over the radiators (1 each side). The air then passes out around the engine down to the road, there's plenty of space since there isn't any tinware funnelling air over the engine like the original motor had.

Hi Kiel, I actually wanted to do the rads in the engine bay like yours, however was told I would have issues on a split, just don’t have as much room as the bay windows. Really happy with how my setup is turning out, should have new video posting any day adding centre belly pan to help direct air and cleaning up install.
@kiel73045 жыл бұрын
@@GarageTime I didn't consider the shape of the engine bay in a splitty! Do you find the tray covering the rad on a belly mount likes to collect dust and other road junk?

How do you burp that system?

Did you have the fans mounted in this video? How far below the frame does the rad hang down? Thanks.
@GarageTime5 жыл бұрын
Hi Dustin, Sorry, missed your previous comment. Lowest point is 2.5" below frame rails. In video fans are not mounted, but we have lots of space. Radiator actually hangs on angle, but with scoop appears level. Thanks.

Do you think there’s enough room to run the pipes inside the frame between the radiator and the frame so you don’t have to drill a hole through the frame?
@GarageTime5 жыл бұрын
Dustin Wilson unfortunately do not think so. The path fellows Speed figured out seems very nice. The strengthener went in pretty easy, don’t feel is compromised the frame, but no structural engineer here :)

Do you know David White from Subi Swaps? Last October I paid him a good amount of money for some Subaru Conversion work and parts. Up to this point I had received nothing. Every time we communicated, he insisted that everything was fine, but never show me any progress of the work “due to patent issues”. A couple of months ago he offer me to buy his business, so immediately I realized he was scamming me. I contacted another customer and he have the same situation, even he send the same picture of the Subaru engine and transmission donor car. Now it seems he closed the shop, blocked me and disappeared with my money. So if someone know him or have contact with him, let me know. Thanks Onix Bonilla

No do not know personally, just from our dealings with Subiswaps, and him stealing my money. First time this has happened to me in the VW scene in over 25 yrs! And I have to admit it caught me off guard. Now that VW’s are fetching good money, the scammers and criminals are coming into the scene. A real shame.

I hope you can get a refund for that other "kit" (some assem... cutting, bending, engineering required).
@GarageTime5 жыл бұрын
No refund coming, doubt even get what they still owe me. Got email from them (Subiswaps) stating they are in over heads and closing the shop doors.
@TairnKA5 жыл бұрын
That's a shame but I'm sure you'll come up with an imaginative use for it all.
