Thanks for posting this. Like you, I have never been a fan of No Doubt. I always considered them to be a Pop group. Garbage, Shirley & Brody, brought me here. Back in the 70's & 80's when you found a band you liked (not Pop, Top 40 kinda stuff but Punk, New Wave, etc.) there would be an address on the back of the album cover. "For info, bookings, write : SST Records, Lawndale, CA." We would use the label's catalog to find similar bands. We would try and find other bands that used the same producer/sound engineer or side projects by the band members. So I heard of Butch Vig & followed his career before Garbage was even formed. College radio & the import section in the record store was your only hope of finding new music. Especially if you are under 21 & can't get into the nightclubs to hear these new bands. So, I am grateful for the internet & You Tube which allow me to watch my favorite bands playing live. It also introduces me to music I never would have heard of. So thank you posters of content, for letting this old man rock out to some FANTASTIC MUSIC. I love the way the crowd responded when Shirley started singing. She just took over the stage, in my not so humble opinion.
