Catherine Weaver is a great character. Shirley Manson played the part well. She was a good anti-villain. I thought that was a good twist about the character in the finale. She's actually on our side and she's building a computer to fight Skynet. Why else did she go with John to the alternate future war to go after Cromartie?

To me, the creepiest terminator ever. The coldness she shows to the child and every other human. She would kill them all if she didn't have her broader mission in mind. I miss this show. Ah, what could've been! I still went and purchased it on dvd or blu ray. I have it somewhere in my basement. I think I'll watch it again.

Summer Glau (Cameron) and Shirley Manson are the female equivalent to Arnold and Robert Patrick in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Both performances were absolutely great and ten times better than Kristanna Loken as the "T-X" in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. It's a shame they nixed this show, because it was actually a decent follow-up to the first two films, unlike the sequels after T2.

She got better when the doctor help her mom fake some emotion. But the scene where she said her lap was cold was sad too. BUT, now I think Ellison will raise her. He wanted a family, his ex wife aborted their kid without his knowledge, so this is his second chance to have a family. They deserve each other. Both have a GREAT heart!!! Her mom basically told him to take care of her when she warped.

Have two headcannon stories, this gal and Supernatural's Rowena are long lost sisters, of a sort; the other is that the liquid metal Terminators are actually alien life forms that landed on earth right in the middle of the Terminator war and got invaded by and coopted/reprogrammed by Skynet. If you're judging her acting ability on 'The Sarah Connor Chronicles' then I'd argue it's a redundant exercise. She's playing a "liquid metal prototype (which)...has been unable to make convincing smiles or relate to people.." I'd like to see her play a human being before deciding.

This video is the best clip of all the Terminator ones here. No doubt the kid that played John Connor drug the series into the ratings bomb with his horrible acting. God awful writing for the John Connor character didn't help - they wrote him as a total incompetent unaware clueless twit - totally unlikely to logically develop into the bad-ass that other bad asses would die for. WTF. Love Shirley here, though. She could carry a sequel alone. (Hint-hint).
