Its Come to my attention. The audio is not working in the left side. So with headphones you hear the audio just fine but only out of the right side. I apologize and I will try to get a new phone soon. But if you are having problems maybe turn your headphones around.

It could be 2 set of wye coils in parallel, they could be wire in a way that both centre (neutral) are link by a 4th wire (oppose to have all 6 coils wire crimp together )
@Sourdough_Humboldt Жыл бұрын
The 4 wires on each side could be 3 phases and one jumper wire going to the other wye connection. 6 phase wires and 2 ends of the jumper wire, 8 total

I saw somewhere a Delta motor with a fourth connection for ground but doubt if that's what's going on here.

Any connections on the other side? If the four ends are just two sets of winding's in parallel and there are two more the same then isn't that delta?

I don't see how. But maybe. I am still under the understanding delta needs a number of connections divisible by 3. And no there is nothing on the other side. I think it was just easier to wind it this way then they did their connections on this side. I am fighting a cold and its making me dizzy... SO its hard to focus... But I will figure it out.

@@garbizwal I probably didn't make myself clear but if you find another connection hiding somewhere you'll know. I've stripped a few alternators and the ones wired in Wye have a single bunch of wires for the centre connection. Wouldn't it be odd to have a motor wound in Wye with more than one central connection? Maybe they didn't have room for a single large connection and used a link wire to connect one of the phase ends. You'll figure it out though and when you do please post a new video as this is very interesting work you're doing.

@@alibro7512 Yeah I did a split phase Zero motor. I found the WYE connection and split it and the 2 sides of the stator and run dual controllers with it. But this seems to be different. WAY different. I think its because they didn't have a very good winding process and needed a way to connect series/parallel connections.

can the em 57 take the same power as this 61? Wondering if you would have a better time uncrimping a 57 instead of this one :)
@alibro7512 Жыл бұрын
The internet says no, my understanding is the EM61 is a higher power motor.
@garbizwal Жыл бұрын
@@alibro7512 I haven't proven this yet but the stator is longer on the EM61
@alibro7512 Жыл бұрын
@@garbizwal You've proven way more than anyone else I know of. On the forums I frequent they claim the EM61 is more powerful but I haven't seen any official documentation to prove this.

Not only are your EV motors silent.....so is the entire commentary.
