“doing her job perfectly”? During the fisher king episodes, the unsub got all the teams information because she played a game on the fbi’s network and gave him a way to hack her. This put Hotch’s whole family in danger, caused Gideon to get so depressed he ended up leaving, and led to Elle almost dying. The other’s have made mistakes but they never made one so big they ruined two other team members lives and caused them to leave.

Foyett was the one who threatened Hotch's family and killed Haley. I mean, yeah it sucks that Elle got shot, and I'm not justifying Penelope's actions, but you're trying to pin stuff on her that wasn't her fault Also...a huge point of that episode was that fisher king was friends with Reid's mom. She told him all about the BAU before he ever got into Penelope's computers. ALSO, if you'd been paying attention in season 1, he'd already been stalking them before he got into her system.

I love it in one of the earliest seasons (1 or 2) when Hotch tells her he’s putting her on speaker and she tells him he completely sucks! Also the ‘You’re the man’-‘No, you’re the man’ exchange is sweet! Love those two together, she gets away with a lot of stuff ( calling him Aaron, honey, slick...) that no-one else would! They are my two favourite characters and I adore their friendship dynamic. They are both very loyal to their friends and care deeply about them, they just show it in different ways. They are both into the arts ( theatre) and are foodies/good cooks, and he is very good at encouraging her, while she is one of the few people who can genuinely make him smile!
