Head Canon: We didn't see him die and the autopsy for the John Doe estimated he was 35. That's closer to the 2012 Garcia Flynn. So the younger one died, ours is still fine.

She’s the one who inspired him to be a better man and a better person in the very end he was the real hero of them all and she knew that too!!!!!!! Lucy made him a better man and a better person and with time she became everything he said they would be allies and eventually friends/family and some part of her will always be grateful for him and some little part of her will actually love him too!!!!!!! In someways I wanted to see Lucy and Flynn at least have one moment together like she read in her journal it would had been so amazing to have seen that just one ☝️ time and they would have at least a few kisses together and then she could be Wyatt like it was always supposed to be in the end!!!!!!!!!!!
