That looks really nice! Been thinking about what I want my flower beds to look like and you gave me some ideas for a fall project. Nice job!

Looks good Sam. I am thinking of doing something the same to my lawn. Lot's of options to choose from.
@SamsLawn Жыл бұрын
Thanks Mate, definitely are a lot of options, took us 2 years to decide what we want, best to think about it and try out different kinds before actually settling for one. Since most of these take time and money to install, then you want to be sure you chose one that you will like for many years :)

Morning Sam, this edging looks amazing, as you say it gives clean lines, I have been looking for a garden edge for months, and this is very much at the top of options . Thanks for the video. Kind regards Danny UK.

Wow looks really clean and crisp Sam top work I would have liked to see how you did that tho with the edging in a nice video 😅 Good idea with the front I noticed taking the patio out to make your lawn straight👍👍 Your lawn is looking really 👌 nice.

Thanks dude, really wanted to do a video on all of that but I had painters repainting the house at the same time, so many people around the house so it just got too crowded. I still feel embarrassed to talk to a camera even when ONE neighbor sees me haha. But I really do like the outcome especially with the patio on the front, looks so much nicer. Thanks for dropping by mate, appreciate it!

Looks good! ... But when are we going to see your new lawnmower?! ;)
@SamsLawn Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! Thanks for reminding and pushing me, I was planning on doing a video long time ago but stuff just keeps getting in the way. Hopefully I can just make a short mowing video to show the mower, I am falling behind! haha But soon, I promise :)

jag har gjort samma hos mig för två år men det är viktigt att du gjuta alla granit/sten annars dem sjunker ner under tiden

Helt rätt! De där sitter i bergkross och betong så de borde sitta ordentligt... Hoppas jag :)

A few questions: - Will you grow the grass against the vertical stone? - did you use cement to install and sand to level? Thanks
@SamsLawn9 ай бұрын
Hey Vincent, yes, I grew grass against the vertical stone. I had a mix of gravel and cement to fix the stones and level them. Also have more gravel underneath it without cement for drainage. One way of fixing this would probable be to dig up everything closest to the stones, deep enough to get past the cement and then add more gravel maybe. not sure.

@sam where did you get the rustic metal edge from?
@SamsLawn Жыл бұрын
Hey Mate, just at one of the garden stores here in Sweden, Granngården. But they are available everywhere, they come looking like normal blank metal, but they get the intended rust just after a couple of months outside.

@SamsLawn thanks! I ended up spending 3 hours yesterday doing the edges and then I saw your video and thinking I should follow your footsteps here!!
@SamsLawn Жыл бұрын
@@harissalam4940 Awesome mate! Edging is so time consuming and boring but it makes such a huge differens to the appearance of the lawn, so it's so worth it. Good job, hope it turned out great!

Can you describe these stones so I can look for the same kind?
@SamsLawn10 ай бұрын
Hey mate, so these are granit stones, lenght 50 cm, width 15 cm and 7,5 cm thick. They are actually the most common stones the retailer had, at least that´s what they told me :)
