Howdy Bren! 👋 I'm rejoicing with you in your bouquets selling out! It's gonna be another sweet year for Bren's Blooms!💃 Beautiful cabbage and zucchinis.👍 I always enjoy the blooms you show us...show stopping!😃 Yes, the girls probably need some indoor time...Texas chickens are used to that kind of heat. You be careful in that heat...especially with that humidity. So cute the girls have an amigo that visits them.😀 Have a lovely weekend! Continued happy gardening!💕

Hiya, Bren!I guess I don’t need to ask how things are with you. That heat sounds miserable. Make sure you get cool and keep hydrated especially when you’re outside. I wonder if you can put those reusable ice packs in the the water for the chooks to help keep them cool. I’m glad to see that your flowers are selling out. Onwards and upwards. Until next time. 🌿🌸🦋

All good Bren no worries mate. Your mates the butcher bird and the galah's are back haha. Your bouquet's look amazing. It's not snails and slugs is it, we've had same very dewy night lately. It's not the chooks picking at them. We were supposed to be 39degs today but it ended up being 43, and tomorrows supposed to be 42 but it'll probably end up being more so we shall see, it's 8.44pm and it's still 30degs. When I had chooks for my kids when they were little, on hot days the girls would go out and squirt the chooks with a squirty bottle on a fine mist and they'd just stand there and take it all in hahaha. Take care, stay safe and cool. Seeya Rob

Hey Rob, I managed to record the Butcher bird today in the Grevilias tree but forgot to add the footage. 🤦♀️ Maybe I'll remember next week.🤞 I loved the sound of the birds so much that I added the same sound again this week. Wow 43 when it was supposed to be 39, big difference a few degrees makes when its that hot ! 🔥 A simular thing happened here, it was supposed to be about 35 but ended up being 39. Is it humid for you too? Oh I love everyones help in the comment section, thanks for opening my mind to other reasons for the zuchinnis getting holes in them. Haha how cute that your girls did that for your chooks.❣ I was thinking I might leave the sprinkler on low during the hottest part of the day. I know some people may say that it wastes water but I think it will help the chickens stay cool , if I don't end up bringing them inside. I hope you manage to stay cool tomorrow Rob, I'm going to get up really early to water my plants, put out some washing them try to stay indoors for the rest of the day. Take care, Bren

Hi Bren, thanks for your beautiful video. Your bouquets are stunning. Can't wait to see which dahlias you have. We've just had a cool change come through here (Sat night), which is so lovely. It's been very hot and humid, so it's a nice reprieve before more hot weather next week. We had lots of rain last week, and my roses now have so many buds on them. My dahlia tubers are shooting up, except the cafe au lait....😢 I planted them probably 3 weeks ago. Can some be slower than others to sprout? Take it easy and keep cool this week. Cheers ❤
