I started watching her two years ago and stopped because I got so depressed about my living situation. I grew my own garden but I was going through a domestic violent relationship at the same time. This year I let it all go. I also had chickens either a beautiful coop but I gave it all up to create a better life for me and my son. Two days ago I found a house! So now I’m working towards my garden again. I’m so proud to see her flourishing! It motivates me to create my garden all by myself. And luckily with the house that I found I can do all of that and more. I’m so blessed, I cried for days like this and my heart is just filled with so much joy❤️

I can relate. I grew up in my grandmother's flower garden so the lime-green thumb started. I got interested in "food" gardening about 5 years ago with plenty of failures and lots of money thrown away. I eventually found success with carrots and peppers. The summer of 2019 I taught myself canning. Luckily my mother gave me her mother's waterbath canner; I just needed to get the jars and accessories. Now I have plans to market garden all the things with improved skills, better knowledge and 10 acres. If you want it, go after it.

I loved your garden Ms. Asia. It's healthy, healing, organic, peaceful, quiet and in harmony with Nature. I always plant and start my garden in summer. I started my seeds but covid hit me and my poor seeds died. I have no energy to plant. Thank you for sharing your lovely garden. In my place we have nosy neighbors that reported one of my neighbor who owns a chicken. He was fined $400 for growing a chicken in his backyard. I grew up in the Pacific islands. All we have is what we grow in the backyard. We don't have a grocery stores. Our market day is only once a week so we have to be self reliant. I grew up with several chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, cows, goats, carabaos, cats and 11 dogs. They are farm dogs. They always follow my dad to the farm. They hunt mice and some unwanted snakes, insects in my late father's farm. You gave me inspiration to grow my garden again next year. Thank you again for sharing your story.

This garden is a true testament to nature’s freshness. I can completely relate to the joy of having fresh harvests on the table-it’s such a rewarding feeling. I’ve been growing vegetables for a while, but it’s challenging to grow all year round in some areas. Managing weeds is another tough task, especially without a weed barrier, as I’ve experienced myself. It really does take a lot of dedication and hard work. What I loved most about your video was how you emphasized practicality-encouraging viewers not to overspend on fertilizers and trellises. It was informative and inspiring.

Asia WOW ! What a beautiful video. I grew up in a big city and transplanted myself to a smaller suburban city/town. I always wanted to grow my own food but was scared I would be a serial plant killer. I started volunteering at a community garden in 2021. By the end of 2022 I earned a small plot in the garden. This community garden charges zero dollars, all they ask for is volunteers. Now in 2023 I successfully grew seedlings for the first time and they didn't die. I have a plot of cantaloupe and squash. Last month I picked my first cantaloupe out of my plot. The taste was incredible! The melon was sweet and full of juice. A month ago I added green peppers in the plot. Next year I will try to grow kale, strawberries, tomatoes and mixed salad greens. I can say YES, to a healthier mind and body. The gardening work is hard yet healing. Eating fresh food from the garden tasted better than the store brought produce. I'm not digesting pesticides or chemicals. Keep growing !

Anyone watching this- please understand that you don’t need a bunch of money for flats, fertilizer and fancy things. The plants don’t care how much you spent. Just give them what they need! By the way, I share your preference for sheet mulching and no dog gardening. No dig= less watering, less weeding and less money spent.
