Garden of thorns really is only held by back by 1. The speed requirement 2. The 2 of every ego resource needed to use it Its actual effect, when properly used and with the right skills / egos is bonkers Tragically, those two drawbacks are genuinely severe enough to cause problems and make it kinda mid (especially since you want a primarily/all lust team, but still need to generate all ego resources?) Can be overcome with MD gifts, but then again, what can't?

ive unironically had to use this ego vs dulcinea with my kurokumo clear and... yeah the 2 of every resource kills its usability unfortunately

This ego could've been so much cooler. Like it could've changed its affinity to match the resonance and also buffed itself when other ego were in the chain. At bare minimum made it so it changes it sin affinity, and may be even resource cost and status effect based on that. But no, just had to be the worst WAW ego I guess.

It’s only ever used for healing Still I think it’s good. Fills the otherwise-empty WAW slot and rolls moderately high. I can rely on it from time to time. “But my resources” resources are only ever important in railway lets be real here lol
