Hey ESGOO, great video! I think the video was absolutely well put together and thoughtful. I couldn't help but notice, however, that Soda Hong Lu was not mentioned with other healing EGO. On a heads hit, Soda Hong Lu heals 15 HP for 2 allies with the lowest HP, a perfect EGO to use in a pinch. On top of that, it also provides 15 SP to 2 allies on a tails hit, creating a win-win scenario by using it, easily putting it on par with fluid sac Faust. What really pushes it over the edge, however, is that if you land a crit with Soda Hong Lu, on top of the previously mentioned effects, the lowest HP percentage ally heals an additional 8 HP and the lowest SP ally heals an additional 8, making this EGO a strong competitor to fluid sac Faust, and easily worthy of a mention in the video.

I think fluid sac is really good for the SP healling but i do have to say that Lantern Sinclair is the potential man of healling EGOs because his healling effect is on hit unlike any other healling mass EGO. So if you hit 3 enemies you have 90% HP healling for all the team or (depending on how luch health your ids have) 45% Hp healling for 2 Ids. This is even better if you use the extra attack weight conditional. So you could ,teorically, hit 5 enemies to heal a total of 150% Hp that can distribute itself to heal more or less to each id. The minimun being 15% and the maximun being a crazy 75% of healling

Fluid sac is such a good healing ego, thank you for enlightening me Esgoo, ever since I saw this video, I can't stop getting visions about fluid sac, one time while I was walking down the street and I saw a group of people and Invisioned how crazy it would be to use the ego on them to get that 15% max hp heal and that 15 sanity. I was at class once and my math teacher was really bugging me, only for me to get visions of them getting hit by fausts corroded version of fluid sac, that 30 sp lost is crazy! My parents keep telling me I should get a job and move out of their basement but they don't understand that I have to grind mirror dungeons so I can uptie my fluid sac faust to uptie IV on my seventh alt account now. They just don't get the grind! I hope for more fluid sac faust videos in the future Esgoo.

I like to add one more thing to this discussion and that is N-Corp Faust combat passive whistles. When you activate it (4 lust Res.) at the start of the combat phase it heals 2 allies with the least SP for 15 SP, and you don't need Faust to be apart of the lust Res. Winning a clash give you 10 SP. Fluid Sac with a Heads hit gives 25 SP. So on turn 1 of a fight (theoretically and assuming you have 4-5 allies with a lust skills on turn 1 not including Faust) you can use SUPERBIA on Fluid Sac and win a clash with it (it hits head) giving all allies 25 SP, Whistles giving 2 allies 15 SP, and all 5 of Faust's allies win their clashes. So Faust herself have 15 SP, the 2 allies infected by Whistles has 45 SP, and the last 3 allies have 35 SP at the start of TURN 2. WTF. P.S. Fluid Sac can also crit. on all 5 enemies it hits.

I think one strength for fluid sac you didnt mention is that not only are there generic IDs that fuel it The 3 strongest archetypes, charge sinking and bleed, all fuel the EGO fully while having very string Faust IDs. All of those teams basically perpetually can access it while *already* being pretty overtuned without it and they dont have to make a single teambuilding concession

Hi ESGOO, your video is as good as usual, but I'm surprised you didn't mention how one of EGOs has an opportunity to be better than Fluid Sac in future. You see, there's that one EGO called Soda Hong Lu, which does the same thing as Fluid Sac on critical hit, but at cost of only 7 resources instead of 9. It has also a great passive that can regenerate even more SP! This EGO is sole reason why there's still no Poise Hong Lu ID, but they can't stall this forever, and once we get it, Soda Hong Lu will break meta like we never seen before. Also my dad works at Project Moon and let me tell you, threadspin V on this thing is going to be insane, but I can't say much before

I've been doing an LP of Limbus under 'pretend it's current content' type restrictions which has been pretty fun, and part of that has been stopping myself from using Fluid Sac unless it somehow becomes absolutely necessary. If I needed panic SP I'd use Representations Emitter, and one time God help me I even used Impending Day's on-kill effect to heal Outis after a chicken broke her legs. It's been nice to think about some fights in a different way and sort of plan out the ways to feed my team SP through engaging with the mechanics of the fight. Canto 7 though? No, die. Die 1,000 deaths. Bleed on unbreakable coins got me to unseal the armoured lockbox where I keep my Desert Eagle and I blew away every vampire in sight with that. In fact I even stepped in and levelled Dieci Rodion to max so I could bring HER in and supplement Fluid Sac with her Hex Nail (and it made me a Rodion Hex Nail truther I like it a lot). A gimmick I'd love to see an enemy have in a future canto would be the ability to steal healing from attacks targeting a certain skill slot. For example, give them 3 body parts with 2 skill slots each and a passive where every turn, a different body part would redirect all healing a skill would give to your sinners into the boss, encouraging you to read/not use the 5 attack weight healing EGO every turn.

Fluid sac is certainly problematic, though I do think the twitter comments are correct in that Limbus's format as a gacha game is really shooting itself in the foot balance-wise Being unable to touch up on any identity post-launch without introducing a new system that you will eventually have to give to every identity is... rough, and it's going to get more and more rough as stronger and more complex identities come out and design oversights become more common. If manager don released and had a secret strategy to get an empowered skill 3 every single turn, all future identities would have to be able to match or surpass that power to be viable. PM would also have their hands tied because unless they labeled it a bug they would simply be unable to tone her down. I think this is really limiting what factors they can put into an identity out of fear that it would be stronger than they anticipate. Say there was an identity that healed allies when it dealt damage, some kind of like, lobcorp ego: our galaxy, but when it released it was healing way more than expected, suddenly they'd have to balance future content with the idea of "if the player fields this identity, they will only die in one shot." Or, arguably worse, "If the player fields this identity, they'll win the battle instantly, but we shouldn't punish people without it by making the encounter too strong." It all comes down to their inability to touch the gacha-content post-launch. Considering PM's other games (with thungs such as old sunset blade, old flaming bat, and certain specific ego gear/gifts in lobcorp...) I don't entirely trust them to release every single identity in a healthy state for the game, so I'm worried about the future of limbus. Also, I think Kim Jihoon straight up saying "Powercreep will continue in a linear fashion and all newer identities will strictly be stronger than older ones" left a really bad taste in my mouth, but we haven't seen the fallout of that yet so I can't really comment on it.

Amazing video Mr Epic, I wanted to mention that after 14 days of logging in, new players and returning players get a ticket to get a season1 BP ego of their choice. This obviously includes fluid sack, so I beleive it's important to let new players know how easily they can have access to it. I too am looking forward to canto 12 where we won't be able to bring Faust for the whole canto because she is held hostage by the police for abuse of regenerative drugs.

I personally believe Fluid Sac can be balanced but it requires a more dynamic fight, if enemies were smarter and would prioritize opponents that utilize healing ego. Say once a threshold is reached they gain aggro in a way, almost like FFXIV where healers are prioritized by bosses if the tank is dead, this would also make Tank units more viable since they could pull aggro away from the person spamming healing EGO and make a more interesting team building experience, where you could be sacrificing healing/tank for speed clears, having multiple healers to prevent the aggro from building, or even using healing ego to gain aggro on units you want it (Mariachi Sinclair sweep).

Jun is mostly scary with his counter, and that counter scales with amount of his allies present. So technically you should just nuke his allies first to make his counter useless.

I... am of a similar mindset as you on on fluid sac but I can't bring myself to leave it behind. I use it pretty often with MD and since I get really annoyed when things get out of hand later on, yes usually because of my own poor decisions, I am one to just take my losses after hitting floor 5 if it's too much of a pita for me to continue. Fluid sac can aleviate me and actually encourage me to continue. Though that is a me problem I admit. On another note I am looking forward to the Talisman video, been considering what to build as rupture, and your "Worst ID's in RR5" video when it finally comes around.

In regards to 9:46, I've seen a ton of people claim that Manager Don's Uptie Story spoils Canto 7 for new players, but I disagree. I, as a new player who has not reached Canto 7 yet, watched the Uptie story for the first time and didn't feel spoiled at all. It was only after I saw people claiming it to be spoilers that I thought about it some more and realized what was really going on. I'm sure some people could figure out the whole thing without someone telling them it was spoilers, and that is genuinely a problem, but at least for me, the biggest spoiler was people claiming it to be spoilers.

if i had higher standards on the canto 5 dungeon i would've also needed it there but at some point i just said "screw it, we ball" and didn't restart even when shit hit the fan. the amount of outis corrosions and gregor deaths i experienced were immense. Realistically the only "downside" of Fluid Sac is that it generally can't clash against those rare few HIGH number coins, but hell even then getting this to pop off, your other sinners can probably clash it for you
