Oh! l just love your carnival corner.your planter looked fabulous. Your greenhouse full of eye candy, even your fairy garden with the bicycle and your tools all neatly displayed. And the stained glass piece was lovely, l must look for something in stained glass. Richard is a dear putting up all the bunting and last but not least the flamingos, just what was needed for your fun carnival corner. Do you ever look back on old photos of that corner? l can remember there not being too much at all. Just when l thought all that was left for us gardeners was to moan about the heat, you come up with Carnival Corner. We topped 40 where l live and l'm afraid some plants look as if l have burnt the Sunday roast!! But onwards and upwards, happy gardening my friend 🤗🌱🌾🐞🐝🦋

Yes I remember that corner, there was nothing except the purple planter and the water butts and the big box for the cushions 😊 Richard is a dear, I think he has finally stopped arguing with me, he had opted for a quiet life 🤣 my plants have suffered in the 40 heat too, it looks nice in the video because that part was a week ago but I’ve pulled lots of dead things out and now lots of gaps, been trying to keep on top of the watering but it’s tedious 😊 isn’t it? But I love carnival corner, it’s a bit of fun. Take care my friend and don’t overdo it if it gets hot again 🥰

Almost no sun today, so l painted the last three fencing panels, which was a tedious job along with watering. I mean l don't mind now and again in hot weather, but everyday!! Still we mustn't moan as some people are a lot worst off. I think you should make knicker bocker glory (can you remember those) or fancy ice-cream to have in your carnival happy corner 🤗🍨🍧👍

The first heatwave lasted 2+ weeks, then we had a break of just 24 hours and then straight into the following heatwave. Thank goodness the residents have a swimming pool. Miguel and I have been going to the pool at 4 pm almost daily when the heat is brutal. Miguel swims lengths, I just float like a blob enjoying the cool water.🤣

Wow ..... it all looks amazing .... especially the Pink Flamingos ... We have a store here called Hobby Lobby and at this time of year they have their garden things on sale ... well I was in there yesterday for something completely different .... then I came across the garden area and found the cutest two Frogs and of course they had to come home with me and join the other frogs around my garden .... and them being on sale ... Well why not .... ??? ... Love my Frogs just because of the surprise they bring as you walk around the area ... so much fun .... !!! ... Hugs

Always look forward to your videos Janette. Love the garden furniture the flamingos & the cheerful party look. I would love to see another mirror type window or something to reflect your lovely garden I’ve always liked your illusion door. We have a mirror that looks like a doorway into another garden. We also have window mirrors because we have a small garden - it opens it a little. Your choice of plants etc just works so well - far superior to my garden which is a bit higgledy piggledy🤣 & so prone to pests & fungus but we don’t give up do we?? Whatever the problem !! 😊😊😊 oh goodness me, don’t watch all the old ones 🤣 some of them are dreadful 🤣 yes I’m just posting weekly on a Tuesday now. I was doing 2 a week through Spring because there always seems to be such a lot to do then, but I find everything slows down in the summer. Plus of course it got so hot here and so it’s not worth planting anything new now until we get to the end of the heat. I had to pull a lot out recently as lots were struggling, but it has left gaps … which are never a bad thing 😉 thank you for your lovely comments Chelsea.

Amazing find and so strange for them to appear on 2 separate days in a row. Loving Carnival Corner. It looks so whimsically inviting (the stained glass is exquisite, btw.) We just came out of a 90°+ 8 day stretch but the lower Temps probably won't last long. Your plants are still looking fine and your entire garden is amazing.
