Wee tip use a 4inch roller and roll across diagonally same way as the pattern on back goes on easier also glue them right to the edges leaving a inch 2inch round the edge is only leaving a bit where the bed is unlikely going adhere to. Keeps the fingers clean tho lol. Get a grabo buddy tremendous bit of kit keeps the fingers out the road and when your putting a tile in when no open sides it’s a nightmare with the fingers. Benefit more when they are 900x600,s.

how do you set the fall on it Kieren?

So I found my highest point, and then set a dead man at each corner, I work to roughly 10mm fall over a 1m span, and then just string line them through👍🏽🙌🏽

Do you mix building sand to just make your life a little easier? I hear building sand is the worst thing to use for laying flags etc!

Yes it makes it easier to work with I find! Just a personal preference!👍🏽👌🏽

Best to do 3-5mm joints on porcelain mate , looks good though 👍

I find the brush in compound doesn’t like small joints mate so I went for slightly bigger👌🏽

Better just using sharp sand and cement, 6:1 is plenty strong enough.
