I’m so happy I found you now in this stage of my life. I live in Washington, DC and I have been battling depression. I recently also found MC Beaton’s Character Agatha Raisin who moves to the Cotswolds after early retirement. This channel is a great respite from my reality. I have also fallen in love with thrifting. something that I remember my mom loved to do. I don’t have time to garden now but I look forward to shopping for shabby chic furniture.

When we moved into our house about 8 years ago ,There wasn’t any garden to speak of on the one and a half acres ,There were trees and weeds for grass,After the house renovations I started on the garden but was at a loss where to start ,I was so overwhelmed ,We had a lot of various shapes of concrete edging so we put that around 4 sides to make garden beds ,then I thought what next ,we went on a tour of gardens I knew one of the people whose garden was on the tour ,I told her how overwhelmed I was ,she gave me a great piece of advice ,Start in one corner then when done move along to the next one,I finally sorted all the edges out I’m still working on it but it’s a work in progress,What is the acreage of your property?
