@@dreyt5197 hi Audrey, I don't really use any national or commercial brands. I usually get my compost locally and then make my own potting and seeding mixes...

@@dreyt5197 no problem. Try to source our a local supply. Hard if you only need a little bit. In that case, you'll need to experiment.... But even then, brands can vary in quality from season to season...

I love these quickies, I can learn more in a quarter of an hour by these vids than wasting 15 minutes on a single vid to learn, sometimes, absolutely nothing

I just love these Garden Quickies! I try to watch one every day but I’ve been busy planting outside this week. Even my husband is excited! He didn’t think I could get things to grow, but I invested in 2 GreenStalks and have them on my deck. He was saying that we have too many dried beans on hand….didn’t know that was possible. He says they’ll lose nutrition. So I got 7 different types, sprouted them in the plastic bag/paper towel method. He was so excited to see them all sprout and grow that he made a bed for them in the back yard! I’ll make a gardener of him yet!!! 🤣

Just wondering if you could touch on growing peppers inside. Mine have grown to about three inches and have two sets of true leaves but seem to be very slow. Maybe you already have another video I could watch ?

Hey dude have you ever tried the Ruth Stout deep mulch gardening method? If so, what do you think about using sawdust instead of hay for organic matter? Cheers!
@TheRipeTomatoFarms2 жыл бұрын
100%. I already do....just not every bed. I use weeds, old crop foliage, twigs, branches.....virtually anything for think mulch layers. I love the chop-and-drop method for mulching as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/apy1oaunjJaEhaM Excess plant material is mulched as a first choice, composted as a second choice. For sawdust, I usually avoid it directly in garden beds as it takes longer to break down and can bind up nutrients. My veggie beds are all about quick growing, fast turnaround, start over again. So wood chips, wood, and sawdust is better for my compost where it can break down at its own speed.

Rats do NOT like “( peppermint, spearmint, onions and black pepper , jalapeños, habanero peppers )” at all! Try and plants those with other plants. In other words one plant then a buddy plant of “()” you will see ur garden grow. Buy poison to kill rats/ mice green bars only attract for rats/mice try it works for me so far so good. I also PRAY 🙏 to JEHOVAH & JESUS to help me with our plants 🌱 so far so good 😊 💕 🐾 keep an eyes 👀 out on ur plants 🪴
