I'm 70 so about 48 years of gardening in 3 states and 4 homes and Starting at grandpa's Kentucky family farm, Well seems like a great adventure with nature and everything it gives back and tested my drive for good foods. Now have a grow lights and 3 lights and I believe a great setup looking my forward to the coming season, double my types of both tomatoes (35 types) hopefully 2 or more of each, 8 for salsa, 3 of my favorites Brad's Atomic Grape and 3 Thornbury Terracotta . Yes double my two favorite veggies tomatoes and peppers I'm going to need to cut back gardening someday so them extra types will hopefully show me what I like the best so I can reduce my notilt gardening to my limits, Can't believe I will not have a garden until my last season passes. Peppers (8 types ) hopefully 28 plants planed

Fabulous kick off with one of those videos i wish i was able to watch when i first started to garden! Please, please please make use of the YT chapters function. It allows the viewers to stay focus on the area of topic, restart the topic chapter if they first didn't understand and also to refer back to, when they have added your video to their own specific gardening playlist. Identifiable chapters also show up in google searches. It's the same with the top 5 tips. If i want to look up about kale for example, google, will show me chapters first over full videos and then blogs. You will get more exposure and with the kale example might encourage them to watch other parts of the video such as what else to grow with kale at that time of year.

I don't get it. All of my broccoli, sugar snap peas, cabbage and brussel sprouts have turned brown. They were all thriving before the snow. We had two snow storms and I checked on them after the first one, but hadn't since the second one. We are expecting more snow in a few days but usually everything survives through the winter. What could have happened to my plants. They literally look like weed killer was sprayed on them. 😭

So weird Reida..did you try a different variety that wasn't maybe as hardy? Did a nighttime low dip too low? Drainage maybe?
@volqueen
@volqueen 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheRipeTomatoFarms Actually, none of the above. Half of my broccoli is in containers and half is in the ground, so it couldn't be drainage. I really hope someone didn't spray everything with something...It just doesn't make sense to me. I had Broccoli last year that lasted through winter and into to spring. It is all from the same seeds too. Maybe getting down into the low 20's did it. I am just baffled. I went out to harvest broccoli and got none because it was all brown.
