I really like how these are naked seeds. Plant lottery for that farmer! Thanks for the history of the Styrian pumpkin 😊

Easy opening was discovered by accidentally dropping 1. 😆😆 who would have thought! I’ve grown them for several years very yummy to have my own and know where they came from and how they were grown👍

I was given a styrian pumpkin and couldn't believe the seeds were had no shell on them. They were delicious. I saved several dozen and have just planted some. Hope they grow.

Botany of Desire theory. Going to visit my Baker Creek store in town. The Kakai seed look like they have coats, but they are green, so I guess they are less fibrous and more edible, but not actually completely hulless like the Lady Godiva. It sound like they will make good Jack-o-lantern, but I will need the right tools. Power tools? Wood carving knifes?

I had to look “botany of desire theory” up and I am quite intrigued. Thank you! I haven’t grown lady Godiva, so I wouldn’t be able to compare the seeds myself. Perhaps I will grow that variety next! If you find the right tool for carving them please let me know because they are extremely tough to cut with knives. They would make a really beautiful Jack-o-lantern! Some type of power tool sounds like a good idea. 👍

Very nice video..., but can you also eat the flesh? Seems a lot of waste if you only use the seeds....
@SmallSeeds2 ай бұрын
@@wouterbrakhoven8914 yes! You can eat the flesh. It has a mild flavor but is definitely edible. Our chickens really enjoyed it 😁
