I use a pressure washer to just sit integrate the husk and rush it through screens. It works so fast to chop it up and be able to get the nut and save everything

I plan to 640 black walnuts. I only see 12 trees in my life in Washington state The whole husk can be liquefied and turned into medicine to prevent psoriasis and skin problems🥥🥥🥥🥥

Is it recommended that the Alcohol Intermediary Method be used for resins/gums such as frankincense, myrrh, dragons blood, etc? How is it beneficial or not? Does it enhance or interfere with the properties of the resins?

Hey, I would like to ask : there is some resources saying that I should let it infuse in a dark place rather than sunshine. What is your thoughts on this? what is the difference between these 2 methods? thanks xxx

@SmallSeeds
@SmallSeeds 14 күн бұрын
I am glad you asked! Since I made this video 4 years ago I have changed this part of the process to let my oils infuse out of direct sunlight. I rarely use the folk method anymore to be honest but the idea was to let the sun help the herbs infuse into the oil. However, the UV rays can actually be damaging to the herbs/oil and also shorten the shelf life. If you do decide to go with this method you could always put a brown paper bag over the jar. Or just let it infuse out of direct sunlight.

Such a great instructional video, thank you! Just a note: In AZ, we have what could be a potential poisonous look alike, although not perfect, would be Lantana, aka "Lantana camara", which is highly toxic to humans & animals. The Prunella vulgaris plant sounds wonderful to look into, thank you again! 🌻

I like the look of a few herbs floating around in the oil. Can add a few whole herbs after draining out the ground ones? Also, can a spray be made with some of the oil or just herbs in vodka?
@SmallSeeds
@SmallSeeds 2 ай бұрын
You could but you’d have to make sure to use it quicker as it may not be as shelf stable. Make sure they are completely covered in the oil as well. I haven’t tried making a spray with the oils so I couldn’t say for sure. I imagine the thickness of the oil would make it harder to spray.
