I literally started this game four days ago and finished it two days ago. Forget the pollution stuff, forget the climate stuff, forget the politics. It's just a really cute, fairly decent Zelda-like that you won't be able to put down for 10 hours or so. The bosses are fun, but you can over-upgrade your gear and destroy them with ease if you want. The environments are pretty cool, but they're very small and you'll still want +move speed to get it done. The monsters are fun to fight, but there comes a point where you'll get tired of seeing the same enemy for the 20th time while you farm for materials to upgrade your stuff. Solid 8/10 game. Better than many other Zelda impersonators, worse than some. Worth a playthrough if you can get it under $20.
