I really enjoyed the way you moved quickly through your haul and the way you explained everything.

I enjoy Temu. My garden is loaded with Temu decor like solar lights, garden snips, and garden bags for clean-up debris. I have bought so many shirts from Temu, and I get so many compliments on them. Overall, I am a fan.

Thanks for the info... I didn't even get to any of the other categories (there's SO MUCH STUFF on Temu). You definitely can't beat the price. I was expecting the products to be extremely low quality, but most of them were okay (not high end, but decent).

Me too. I buy more than I should. Oh well…

This was interesting. I am sure for people with little income this makes it affordable. I prefer quality over quantity and prefer to purchase from US companies or reputable companies like Felco outside US. Trust me I have bought “crap” on Amazon. But I am trying to make a concerted effort to really look where things are produced and make educated choices. I did have fun watching this and had never heard of Temu before.

I agree. The discount products are very hit or miss. I think you’re right in choosing quality whenever you can.

Interesting to get the reactions of someone “ in the know” to these gardening things. Another YT (Garden Fundamentals) did a review/comparison of blade sharpeners ( about a month ago) and found two Temu sharpeners that he highly recommends! I bought a few things from temu…and wow, are they ever persistent in sending their follow up emails to get you to buy more 🙄😖 Enjoy your haul!
@UpNorthGardenMI10 ай бұрын
The sharpeners seem to work just like ones we’ve gotten elsewhere. Some of the other items have been hit and miss. Thanks for the comment… I’m off to see Garden Fundamentals take off Temu.

I didn’t even buy anything, just downloaded the app to look after a ‘friend’ said how amazing it was😒 Holy crap! The amount of spam was ridiculous! Even if you block them they still spam you😤 This was about a year ago and I’m still getting them just not as many and all I can say is they killed off any desire I MAY have had to buy anything 🤷🏻♀️

Love ‘S’ books. I think the ruler on the pen may be for making holes for seeds. I have used the water bottle waterers. They saved my container tomato plants when the temps went above 85 F.

So glad you mentioned using the water bottle attachments outdoors… for some reason I was only thinking of indoor watering!

I thought you might find this helpful for your white plant tags. When I was getting my degree in Horticulture we used #2 pencils in the greenhouse, they don't wash off. You can even erase it so you can keep using them.

I like Temu. I get lots of comments, in all caps, when I post that I found an item on Temu though. It is very controversial. I like the garden mats, I think I’ll pick some up too. 😊

I have quite a few things I purchased off of Temu for my yard. The solar fountains and the solar lights all have lasted. I got an outdoor balloon spinner to put on my granddaughter’s swing set and it looks really cute. The quality seems decent. I purchase metal Signs for outside, and those are good too. I also bought some of the metal birdbath’s to put the solar fountains in. I purchased some other garden decor as well from Temu, and so far so good. I compare the prices off of Amazon and it’s usually 40 to 50% less off of Temu.

Those foldable potting trays are great for use all over the house. I've used them to line my trunk when I buy plants, one of the huge ones is under the cat litter box, good for kiddos to keep messy paints or Legos in one place. I really like them. All of my orders were pretty good. I've probably spent over a thousand so far and only needed to return one small knife sharpener that broke.

That’s been my favorite item from the order!

I have the green planter mat that snaps on the corners. I love it for when I’m digging the soil to plant flowers. Gives me a place to put the dirt I’m digging up and not put it on top of my mulch. The claw gloves are great!! They come in very handy and save what nails I have.

Het groene autoruitdrogertje hebben wij nu in de winter gebruikt. Het werkt GOED, dus veel plezier ermee. Na gebruik in huis laten drogen. Leuke uiteenzetting. Hebben in oktober '23 Temu ontdekt en tot nu toe meer dan 140 items gekocht. Ook voor Kerstgeschenken voor de familie. Superleuk en goed voor de prijs en de snelle levering. Bye bye

I bought a bunch of "S" hooks from Temu. LOVE them. Gota couple moisture meteres too. I did not like the grow bags, so those went back. I LOVE your metal rooster and grasshopper! The lavender floral garden set is ADORABLE! Temu has tons and TONS of things that you never knew you needed. 🤣😂

I have been very selective about what I order from there and watch alot of these haul videos first. So far I've actually only ordered once and what I bought for the most part was good. Alot of their shoes are good and socks. You should try those. The shoes I purchased would have probably cost about $50 or $60.00 in a local store and I got them for $18.00. They feel very durable. I also got a pack of 6 daylight bulbs that are very bright and work for regular home purposes and would also work for supplementary lighting for plants. The only thing that was really crap was one of those coffee warmers. It feels hot to the touch but doesn't have enough wattage to get through a ceramic coffee cup. In my next garden supply order I am getting some rock wool for starting seeds and seedlings in, a pump type spray bottle, a squeeze bottle with a finer tip to get into my indoor grow boxes where things are kind of crowded, and maybe some netting to keep bugs out of my outdoor garden. I'm also considering getting a baker's rack shelf although many of those seem to be comparable to Amazon's prices and not a fantastic deal.
@UpNorthGardenMI8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. I agree about being selective (in the past I've impulse-bought things I knew would be garbage, but my optimism won out ;). I ordered a spray bottle and a hand-pump pressure spray bottle in a second order and they are working as well as anything I've used (better than what I bought at the dollar store). Shelving is always tricky without seeing it. Good luck, and I appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your experience.

Dollar Tree has the pruners for $1.25, and probably is the same thing. I have one for multiple areas of my property - basement, sunroom, garage.. though I use felco for my main pruning, they are sharp and work fine for quick tidying.

I live in Australia and over the past 3 months I have surprised myself with how many purchases I have made from Temu. I went through the gardening theme and yes while some of the items were not as good in quality, the price I paid for them well let us say you get what you pay for. I have numerous baking packages and love all that I purchased. My husband who has terminal cancer actually is the person who opens each item. It is funny that I heard you say "oh well the item is not as good as I expected", but all of the products are from China. And oddly enough if you purchase in other stores many of the things are made in China.I waited for a bit of a positive opinion from you but most was negative. Disappointed with your review
@marysmith93618 ай бұрын
Is it worse than Dollar Tree stuff? I've also read that workers are working like slave labor.
@UpNorthGardenMI8 ай бұрын
I think there’s a lot of variation in quality (there is SO MUCH stuff in Temu). The things I bought were slightly better than I expected. Like so many items made in China, it’s very hard to determine the conditions in which things were made. I have a feeling many of the products are overstock from the factories that make them for other suppliers.
@donnaq76267 ай бұрын
You do know child slave labor has been going on forever, right? Ask Nike who makes all their products.
@ruthfurlow54686 ай бұрын
Temu absolutely sucks. And you have to give them your credit card or something but the bank I use called me about an order i did because of having to give them your money to a place where you know what they use child labor especially in the clothing industry. It’s a fact so it can be traced .
