You are completely responsible for my garden - I LOVE it. Instead of just veg or edible plants, I have begun growing flowers tucked in and am loving the look. Beautiful to look at results in anxious to get in and work so I've lost weight, eaten salads and greens and looking forward to 'you name it' I wanted to grow everything. BUT there are borders of flowers and hanging baskets of superbena. Pots of supertunia and bird baths, a couple statutes, trellises, new walkways, cute little borders of fancy shells, a silver bells chime, and pretty pansy maids all lined up in a row. I get up early to walk into it, work in it after lunch, sit in it after watering and eating supper. I LOVE it. Thank you so much for all the inspiration as you have no idea what a difference my garden has made in my life. Yes, roasting radishes is the best! You've got to try it.

Coffee with Laura and a naughty Russell what a way to start the day lol You may have to use those cloches in the beds where Russell like to lay to keep him out. Cats can be such stinkers when they want to. Love your garden space and the growth is awesome! I really like the idea of putting the veg or fruit in other places as well as you said it can make a nice holder for a space especially when it is a crop like lettuce that has such a short growing season. Hey Laura, I read that sunflowers are one of those allelopathic plants like walnut trees so be watchful of your pepper plants (and the ones in that box now). I happily had one pop up by one of my currant bushes last year and I noticed that particular currant bush didn't do very well. I couldn't figure out why until I read that. Interesting, huh? Could've been a fluke, but something to keep an eye on anyway. They are even researching sunflowers as a possible organic herbicide because of this! Everything looks so lush and green... just beautiful!
