Hi kids! Im an elderly woman in my 70s who has found new meaning in life, thanks to you, through Garden Answer! I tragically lost my two adult children and husband. I found myself completely lost until I found your site online. Your family reminds me of ours, having raise 3 kids on a sheep farm in PA. I miss those days but can relive much of what you two experience on your beautiful property with your darling children. It has been such a help to me, youll never know. I now live in an old neighborhood with a typical small back yard, but have learned so much about gardening that wasnt available to us before the internet and currently using every inch of space to grow delicious cherries and raspberries as well as having a lovely raised bed garden. Thanks to your inspiration! Thank you for being who you are. Youve made a difference in my life!

Thank you for posting and finding your second wind. Just like Laura inspires people, reading a post like yours inspires others who are struggling. It’s hard to find your way after significant losses, but I’m learning if you don’t live in your moment with gratitude for what we have now there is no way forward. Sometimes the small moments are what we find that in like your cat rolling around in the sun, a beautiful tulip opening up, and eating a blackberry off your own bush is awesome.

Your comment just stopped me. I felt compelled to reach out and express my condolences to you. I can not imagine what you have been through. So happy to hear that gardening and watching Laura's family has brought you joy. Life can be a difficult road for sure. I am also in PA which made me think of you. I wish you all the best. Have a beautiful day. 🌼

Nobody thinks you’re a Goody-Two-Shoes when you share and give your flowers away! It’s so nice to see your friends come join you to pick and arrange! (Seems so idyllic!) Then the delightful ooohs and aaahs of the recipients! To ME, that’s exactly what flowers are meant to do! I wouldn’t worry too much about the sanctimonious-ness of the situation! You’re a delight!

ABSOLUTELY, what Cindy said😅. Anybody that watches your video's knows that you grow somethings in excess for that very reason. Nothing goes to waste, how many times have we heard "we give it friends and family, Bethanys Pigs or the 🐔 's"! Even plants, shrubs, bulbs, etc., get homes😊 Laura you are definitely an UNselfish person that only wants to put a smile on a person's face when giving out 💐 ❤ Although a ton of work😢 giving away flower's makes my heart swell, please don't stop.

You two bring so much positivity and joy to our lives! Laura, please don’t feel weird about filming the flower give away videos. You radiate so much kindness and warmth that I just simply can’t imagine anyone thinking you’re doing it for attention/likes. Those videos are so important because they’re reminders, and ideas, of the simple things we can do within our communities to brighten the days of others. They’re heartwarming to watch. And in a world full of anger and bickering, they remind me that there are still a lot of amazing people out there. Thank you for your videos and for letting us tag along in your garden journey 😊

I agree! Laura please continue to share videos of you doing this. It's inspiring. We know you have good intentions so don't worry! It reminds me if my Mom! She used to share the bounty of her harvest & flowers! She raised 6 kids & we still had plenty to eat all winter & got to enjoy home grown home canned & frozen food. She taught us how to can & be generous & grateful to God for our bounty. She'd also give away fresh eggs & chicken that her & Dad raised! I laugh when people speak of prepping like it's a new idea ir something. I've mentioned before in a comment Ling ago how I look forward to your videos. Not only to learn & get new ideas (I've copied things in my yard that you've done sometime I'll send you pictures) but it also brings back great memories of my parents & it is a great break from all the stresses if life! Watching your videos is like getting my hands in the dirt without getting them in the dirt. We know what great "therapy" gardening is! Thank you! Keep it up! Please don't stop! & to Aaron, you're doing a great job on your videos! Keep em coming!😊 😊😊

Animal lady here...😊 I was thinking that perhaps Douglas is not neutered. Many intack male cats will follow a scent of a female in heat 4 miles. And after the heat is gone then the cats don't know how to find their way back home! So that's when a stray will usually show up cuz they are hungry. It actually take 16 mice a day to feed a cat! Anyway you might see if Douglas needs to be neutered, which would stop him from fighting after a few months and the hormones wore off. And I'm sure Russell would certainly appreciate the change 😸

As a 70 year old continuing to garden on my hillside acre of paradise, a Hoselink would be a great convenience. Ps: I love how Aaron has relaxed into role speaking more often. You both are a joy.

I think the fire rock looks good in its location, and I'm glad that you decided to change those bright blue glass rocks to a charcoal gray (they'll look more like cold embers when the fire isn't lit). It does make a nice footrest for you two!

I’ve been in the hospital for the past week recovering from surgery. I’m listening to your podcast Sunday evening and it’s giving me such comfort. You are part of my morning routine and I’m feeling hopeful that things will get back to normal. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

One of the main reasons we watch your videos in our house is that they truly are and feel completely authentic! Not once have I ever thought there was an intentional fishing for attention or validation when it comes to your approach in any video but especially in your generosity, but I can understand how you feel. There is a marked difference in your approach and your kindness when we see you being generous with the abundance that fills your gardens. It is truly inspiring. Comradery and connection in kindness is all I have ever felt with your videos like this.

We love it when you give away the flowers. I think it inspires other to do the same. So, you are being an example of how we should all be. Don’t worry about looking boastful. Goodness is infectious!

So enjoyed the fact that you don’t want giving away flowers to be all about you. You and Aaron are special people. I also think having a hoselink would be amazing. Thanks for the content, including sharing products that can make gardening easier and more enjoyable.

❤ Arron’s, laid-back attitude, except for his plant them high tree 🌳 rule 😂. Thanks for introducing this to your viewers

As soon as those blue rocks went in I knew they would not last long. It is so fun that this community knows Laura so well. Thanks hoselink for sponsoring.

Laughed when you changed the “natural” blue rocks! The dark looks so much better ❤

It’s pretty amazing the way you both are running this big business, yet still have such a personal connection with your viewers- awesome!! I have to remind myself not to expect myself to do all that you do. You offer so many possibilities for so many!

I've always enjoyed watching the 'free flower day' and the joy it brings to the recipients. I never, nor would the majority of your followers, think that it was a 'look at me' moment... at all! You and Aaron have a very generous and kind heart. Having said that - I understand you may have a different perspective from behind the scene or behind the comment board. Thank you for all you do.

Laura and Aaron work together so well even when their ideas or ways of doing things differ. They trust each other when one of them has more experience/expertise or has a new idea they want to try. I also enjoy seeing Benjamin and Samantha joining in and playing. Reminds me of my own daughter when she wants to help😊

I remember when Aaron was not comfortable joining you on camera. The both of you are just wonderful in these recap videos. And, thank you to Hoselink for sponsoring this video.
