I feel like this is by far probably one of her best videos the fact that it has a lot of honesty, and knowing that she’s OK admitting it. Is an eye-opener for a lot of people to know that there is no such thing as perfect in the world. Thanks for putting this video out there, and continuing to be humble, and real, and comAt the same time

You can use the radish pods in stir fries. They are delicious! I purposely let my radish go to seed so I can eat those pods.

Thank you so much for being vulnerable! This year mine was a summer garden that had me thinking "I will try once again next year but if it doesn't produce better then...(I will quite possibly be DONE) So this helped!

Ground cherries are my family’s favorite summer fruit. It’s ripe when the shell is like a beige paper and the fruit is yellow. They are ripe when they’ve fallen on the ground. Hence, ground cherry name. Fruit is sweet with honey like flavor. I’ve had to work hard to grow these in my garden successfully. Thankfully they’re perennial. Best eaten raw and ripe!

You're a doll for doing this vid. I mentioned comparisonitis in the garden in a video last week so it's so great to see you - a much larger well known gardener - speak on it

I grew ground cherries. My grandkids ate them and picked them hut the plants were big and I didn’t love them. Done with that. I plant a lot from seed especially flowers. The timing is hard to get right and hard to keep track of where seeds are sown when directly sown in garden. Any advice is welcome!!!!

Most embarrassing moment when I learn chives are supposed to be the easiest thing to grow, and I cannot seem to get them to grow, if my life depended on it! 🙈 and what’s up with cilantro?! it grows and then bolts so quickly! Can’t seem to figure out how to keep it growing well so that I can use it with tomatoes when they’re ripe to make salsa. Embarrassing!😳

😆...if I show you mine embarrassing ones you will feel much better😄 Cool video I have a collection of old little plastic pots from the plants I bought from the garden center, and a bunch of cardboard boxes to add to my compost as a carbon source...my daughter said Iam a hoarder 😆. I also have left weeds to grow from the gravel between the planters and I cannot picked all..what do you use to keep gravel free of weeds seedlings? That is really embarrassing 🤦🏼‍♀️

I eat ground cherries straight from the plant but some people make jam with them. See if your kids like them. They’re sweet and have a bit of a pineapple flavor.
