Wow, Heidi! That's a lot of Chick Charms! It was very helpful to see all 24 and their tags. I enjoy your channel and watch it every day!

They all have their best colors in late fall and late spring as she well knows. My favorite is golden nugget. Gold in summer and more orange in winter/fall. As she also knows.

Hi Heidi - I know these hens & chics use cactus soil, but can I plant a variety of them in the same pot ?
@gardencrossings Жыл бұрын
Yes you sure can and we often do that. It is neat to see 5-7 of them together if your pot is big enough.

If I plant a pot collection of these, do they come inside to a cool area for the winter? Would they keep their summer colors if placed under gro lights? Can they remain in a small pot, or will they need to be up potted each year? They are all wonderful and choosing will be a problem🤦♀️

I would recommend a 12" shallow pot. Place 5 of your favorites in it. As long as you are a zone 5 or warmer they can stay outside all winter in the 12" planter.

They do not like to be indoors

Are their current colors because of less light or are they dormant?
