Great to see these uploaded. Out of all the gardeners I have watched and followed, Alan taught me How To Garden. I hope these vids don't get taken down. The Beeb saw their arse a few years back and took all of Alan's stuff down . If that happens , try uploading to Daily Motion . No regulation police there as it is French( I think ) . All the best .

Alan did such a brilliant job with Gardeners' World; I was sad to hear he was departing but the news that Monty Don was recommended by Alan as his replacement was reassuring as I remembered Monty from the Holiday programme. I wonder who will replace Monty eventually? It would be great if it was Adam Frost as he trained under and assisted Alan's predecessor Geoff Hamilton, it would kind of be a tribute to him
