So many good gardeners believe brix has value for nutrition and have beautiful gardens. You'd suggest to people to ignore everything just because maybe they're less than perfect in terms of brix That makes everything else they know about gardening wrong? My grandfather had no clue what brix was but grew amazing gardens. I know people who believe brix weeds off pests who grow mass scale amazing crops. You'd say they're wrong on everything if they value brix for nutrition value etc? Or if they're wrong on one area they must be wrong everywhere else?

How can I apply this to the orchids I grow. Mostly Catteleya. I grow in a mix of Fir bark, lava rock and Coco husk chunks....mostly to hold the water in a bit longer. I feed a small amount often. About 200 ppm. I use Peters Excel cal mag special with Black Iron. I also add occasionally liquid cal mag and seaweed extract. I adjust the ph beginning with around 5.8.... the micron use interests me as a supplement to what I'm doing now. I grow indoors with natural light and grow lights. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the videos.
