Your back yard space is so beautiful. Just of note the Hydrangeas' color is based on the acidity of the soil ... so sometimes you may plant a blue one and over time it may change to pink or purplish ... and vice versa. If you want to try and control this process you can see what your soil does or test the soil and add certain things to help the plants stay the color you wish....🥰 happy gardening 🪴

It’s giving in the weeds 😍💜 (also I appreciate you mentioning how you meant to do more than you got done, it’s so easy for me to see KZbinrs getting so much done and then look at how my to do lists are never ending and I end up being able to do less tasks in a day than I wanted so I appreciate that it’s not just a me thing 💜)

This is such an amazing space. I love your herb gutter and it'll be great for all of them except sage, sage will get to be a big bush/shrub so it'll need more room and more soil. I love the fairy lights and the greenhouse, so cute!

Ps - I’m still watching - for the corn etc outside your greenhouse, if the chicken wire is too cumbersome or involves a lot to make the small segments easy to move, you might consider bird netting?? Signed, A Vineyard Employee and Enthusiast 😁

Your garden at night is so so pretty and cozy 🥰 Ryan is a talented furniture maker. So good to see the plants growing. Maybe think about planting ceanothus (I probably spelled that wrong, it's a blue puffball plant) for an aesthetic and quick growing bush. Loving the curly hair too.

I think I would make a second fenced off area for a garden that is just for on the ground planting tall stuff like corn. It can be something you make when you decide to expand the gardening space. Until then maybe look at garden boxes with lids, and stuff like chicken wire are great solutions.

You can change the colors of hydrangeas by increasing or decreasing the PH of the soil!! The turtle!! I saw a ninja turtle t-shirt at work after the chapter of the Dad receiving the ninja turtles as a sign from his son. I thought that it might be a sign synchronizing with the book, and then I immediately saw a man with a ninja turtle tattoo like one second later lol She’s listening 🤠
