I always thought growing your own veg was just hype until my cousin brought me a basket of his that he'd grown with no pesticides etc.. Oh man, carrots, cabbage, sprouts and turnips etc... absofreakinlutely gorgeous! I was mostly blown away with the flavour of the carrots and it was then I realised just how much the supermarket veg was crap!

Gardening is one of my favourite summer activities as well. Mental health benefits from being near plants (such as feeling zen as well as accomplished when the crop turns out to be productive), it's nice light exercise for some physical benefits, the product could not be more fresh and it saves you money!

That was an inspiring gardening footage, as I prepare to head back to California after being in Denver for 25 years, I wish I had done diligence and looked up Rose before I left, it’s quite inspirational to see that Village garden in the backyard that’s what I intend to do when I get back to Fresno.
