Most incredible thing about Rose is that she stays in the calculated character no matter what. Through her fights you just see how she sets up moves like a chess player. Every single thing she ever does has a purpose. She gets them with technique and purpose. All jokes laying aside... given her tenacity... she would legit take on a bear like its a walk in the park. Great athlete.

Pat Barry also has matches his match against Dan Evansen shows what leg kicks can do (and he'd do the same thing to me if we were in a bout) a big match in his career was against Crocop, and I thought he was going to win. It does seem like he was the better fighter if that fight were to take place mutltiple times at that time. In the end, if I remember correctly he said he was a bit starstruck. his match with Cheick Kongo is about as dramatic as they come

9:24 I’ve had a moment exactly like this, i wanted to feel what a proper choke was like my first time doing Jiu Jitsu. I thought I’d be able to hang for a bit because on TV people would take super long to get choked out, but I found myself tapping within seconds. I learned that day that there’s no escaping a choke if it’s locked in 100%, super cool.

@@zeaferjones1404 true. thats why you look at COMMON DENOMINATORS, or in this case who is the common fighter involved in the boring fights. same with izzy. romero, whittaker, vettori, cannonier had more aggressive and fun fights against other opponents , yet izzy had all boring or low action fights with all of them aside from the first rob fight. carla is known lay and pray fighter and rose got scared to get taken down andheld down again

Gives a great insight as to why there are weight classes in combat sport. She seems like a genuine sweet person outside the octagon where she has to be anything but kind. I think its been a year since she made that ring walk to the octagon, but weather she decides to give it one more go, or retire for good, she would make one hell of a coach if she chose to do so.

Sorry for a different topic, but I just heard about it. I’m glad Brian is doing what he’s doing. I was at WSM in Myrtle Beach and it was awesome meeting Mitch but it was a absolute shit show. I talked to so many people who traveled so far and could not even witness one event and they were devastated. I’m really surprised WSM allow that to happen and did not prepare for it. Brian, I believe is doing this because he knows what the athletes want and especially with the fans one. WSM is still doing a TV contract and we already know the results seven months before it’s on TV. Plus the show Brian does it truly proves who is the strongest. Not who is the fastest or most fittest.

Isn't it amazing that (sure, she's a MMA Pro) a woman 1/3 as big as Mitch easily can choke him out. It goes to show how important technique is. Sure, if Mitch would go full speed he'd probably crush her (with his weight and power🤣) but any normal sized dude is absolutely in BIG trouble if he'd mess with her. Great content Mitch!

Given enough time, Rose wins because Mitchell will gas out first, he has no submission game, and he's super nice and careful so he won't be able to close the deal in the first minute or two. People with no grappling experience, even athletes from other sports, gas out in a few minutes (or less) when they roll for the first time.

In real life, when Mitchell is a guest at her gym and is being incredibly cautious and gentle, Mitchell has no chance because he has no skills and he will not use his strength out of fear of hurting Rose. If Mitchell does some training and learns a few submissions, that's an altogether different story because then he can win in a safe manner and he will go for it.
