Sir, I have bought a hibiscus plant from nursery few days ago and it is weakening day by day, most probably I have disturbed the root ball a little. The plant was healthy,had 2 flowers and 5-6 buds, the buds are blooming but the leaves have weakened, few turned yellow,was falling...I kept it in semi shade. What should I do? Will it survive? I'm sure I haven't hurt the main root not even a little bit...

try to dig a little deep from one side near the trunk area and see whether their is any plastic pot tangled with the roots...if this is the case remove the plastic pot completely by taking out the plant and re pot it. Nursery men often this pot for air layering and forget to remove it. I also have the same problem but i realise it when my completely died. Hope your plant will survive:)

don't worry keep in a early morning sunlight for 1-2 hour but not in direct sunlight ...do not allow water logging and do not fertilise till it comes to growth...it will survive.. all the best!!
