Can we grow without sun light bcz we live in flats there is no open place...i grew 3 times but stems did not show any single leaf and gets black
@GardeningUpbeat2 жыл бұрын
Sure..it's possible. But without direct sunlight, growth would be slower, size of the leaves would be smaller and they would grow leggy. To avoid the black issue, please add a very thin layer of the water at the bottom. If we pour too much water, the stems rot very easily and hence the black color arrives! Hope that helps, thank you!

After so many days...so is there any alternative for that liquid fertilizer?
@GardeningUpbeat3 жыл бұрын
@Hema Palanivel, I am glad you didn't forget about my Channel and many many thanks! Took few days off as I had to prepare the Summer garden :-) Completely replaced my Winter Terrace Garden with Summer Plants :-) Other alternatives - Well, to be honestly saying, I feel more happiness whenever I grow any plants in Soil. It's bit difficult to grow all plants in water unless we don't have proper Hydroponic equipment. Plus, it's touch to grow everything hydroponically if temperature is too high. So, I must say, I have very limited experience of growing plants in Water than Soil. At this time, I can recommend 2 other alternatives as I have tested myself and got good result - 1. NPK - 19:19:19 (Dose - 1/2 teaspoon in 1 liter water) 2. Panchagavya - 15-20ml in 1 liter water. Anyway, very soon I would start uploading videos about growing many other plants in just Water and I would share more info with updates :-)

Some people say to cut above the node, others say to cut below. What difference will it make?
@GardeningUpbeat8 ай бұрын
Actually a node is a part of a plant from where either roots would grow or a new growth. For cuttings, we need at least one node and we can cut below a node. We can cut above a node too..but in that case, we would need to cut back few parts of stem. It's because, generally while growing from cuttings, we don't insert more than 2 inches inside the soil. It's good if at least 2 nodes are inside the growing medium. While pruning, normally we cut above a node (Node 1 for example) and from this node, we would get a new growth. The stem from Node 1 to Node 2 (just above the Node 1) won't be of any use and it won't produce any new growths. Not much difference to be saying..just some rules..he he..Hope that helps, thank you!

@GardeningUpbeat3 жыл бұрын
@Chaitanya Srivastava, There are 3 good alternatives - 1. ROKET 2. Rogor (for both, please use 1ml in 1 liter water. Aphids would gone in just 1-2 days) 3rd option is organic and Theeta. I haven't used it yet but heard good news. Thank you :-) Even, I can see Aphids on some of my plants too and I am going to use insecticide very soon :-)
