You look so pretty and summery in this vid!! In Seacoast NH we are still experiencing some frost overnight which is what I woke up to this morning. As I don’t have a greenhouse it means my plants I have acquired so far this spring live in my dining room until these conditions end. My daughter life’s in the Midwest and they are enjoying temps in the 70’s already. They are enjoying their deck time too. Honestly it gets SO hot there during summer I would be stuck inside. Also they just experienced a near miss of a tornado. I will take our circumstances here (often impatiently) as it suits me so much better. Love how things are progressing towards your full summer season 🌷💕🙂

Jenny, I this is probably not the same as PW but almost 30 years ago I was given some cuttings of purple queen from another Gardner and have been trimming them and rooting them for others. They do make great Spillers and low growing spreading plants in boarder areas. They also bloom tiny pink flowers. I use it everywhere! Sun or shade. A great plant in Florida zone 9 b.
@cherylhee97622 жыл бұрын
That's my go to! I don't think people use the purple queen enough. I even painted my shed door to match the ones I put in the shed's window boxes. I'm glad to see another fan!

I am 9b Florida as well and have used them forever! My Mom called them "Moses in the boat" plant as the little flowers are nestled in the curved leaves that resemble a boat.

Hi Jenny ! Gardeners should also keep in mind soil conditions are different for everyone. I have rich soil where I live so I don’t need to heavily amend the soil before planting. Some podcasters (“influencers”?) have very poor soil and must add better soil and nutrients to compensate. For me, this would be a waste of $$$. Jenny, ENJOY that coffee and I wish you and Jerry a great growing season!!

Jenny - what is the ($)Thanks button that is randomly appearing on certain video's that I've seen from Laura's and Your video's? Seems it's an option to donate to your channel. GA didn't answer this question in their recap video but I'm curious as to where the proceeds go for people who click on this. KZbin says it comes from youtube channels that op in for this monitization option. Thanks~

You should plant those Tulips you pulled out somewhere in woodland around your property, if they come next year only with foliage, ok, so be it, they are out of way, but if they push some flowers, you can cut them and bring in house ☺️
