Bougainvilleas remind me of my mom. She had a beautiful one growing at the front entrance to our home in Southern California. I love them! Being that I’m now in a much colder zone I know about overwintering and am interested in these new shrubs for 2025! Thank you both for a very informative video today. ❤

Lovey! Do they bloom during the winter as well in zone 9, I think maybe some of them have thorns also do those have thorns??

Hello! Yes they do have thorns. Bougainvillea blooms on and off all year long in zone 9 so we could see blooms in winter. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
