So went to the garden centre, and found two different types of geraniums, one was a short mounding with Pom Pom flowers, the other one is a trailing geraniums!

Yes, thank you! I would totally go in with some fertilizer and give them a boost! Geraniums can be heavy feeders and also consider the temp! I think they will take off!!!

So out here in California we dont have nurseries carring pw annuals. There are so many California growers that just grow plants outside in fields. I tried to direct order a few but that cross country delivery was not worth the poor shape that came. The monrovia brand tho has fields in California and are readily available

Native violets are a real problem around here. I pull them all year and still can't get rid of them. I try and get the rhizome every time.
