Who is Garden State Tortoise?

We are a family dedicated to adventure, conservation of wildlife, and all things nature. We are a reptile rescue and breeding facility for more than ten years, offering refuge to those who need it, and working everyday to protect the beautiful world of reptiles in any way we can. Here on our KZbin channel you will be able to join us on our animal adventures while learning how to care for, protect, properly identify, feed and even breed many species of turtle, tortoise, snake and lizard. 100% turtles know their names! They also have selective hearing sometimes 😂 Our turtle knows his name, and has listened to my husband when he tells him not to do something or to not go somewhere!

Yeah, most small mammals love short lives, but reptiles can live a lot longer usually. Crested geckos usually live 15-20 in captivity. There's a gargoyle gecko though that is 38yo. Idk about the oldest crested gecko. Ball pythons live around 20yrs.

I have a female that the shell growth lines are bearly visible. She is very old and I have no idea how old she is. I've had her 15 yrs. And she was old when I got her. You guys do a great job on your educational stuff on your channel.

Our turtle Ellie is old but we don't know how old shes pretty faded with her colors but you can tell shes an Eastern Box turtle. She's definely older than 20.

My eastern box turtle has changed a lot over the years. When I adopted her 9 years ago, the vet said she was between 6-10 years old. I also have a Russian tortoise. I love my shell puppies! Both are very social and love to be around people on there terms. ❤️🐢🐢
