Thanks Chris. Indoor I raise plants up to get best light. I use veg area for starting garden plants and use flower tent to also veg plants in spring. I mostly grow outdoors. Commercial we try for 5 grows a year. Commercial up to 80% of revenue goes to labor and electric.

I love the interviews on this channel especially growers like Walter who is very open about his path. I live in MN where the weather is unpredictable and it will be interesting to see the challenges we will face and how we will adapt. I kind of disagree with walters statement on vpd.... I think obsessing over vpd can be trouble and you'll wind up steering the boat to far one way or the other. Uderstanding the principles of vpd in a controlled environment is incredibly helpful depending on what aspect of the grow you're focused on/worried about. This goes hand in hand with checking the forecast and how your indoor heating and cooling systems will contribute to the parameters in your tent/room. Just my 2c. Again, love this channel and I hope to see a MN grower here some day!

"Those Plants look like fried chicken!" made me bust out! Been there brother! Been there! My old man eyes thought the label said 1 tablespoon per gallon and reality was 1 teaspoon per gallon. Next day was definitely a "Fried Chicken Plant day!" Lesson learned, now I zoom in on labels with my Phone so I can read it and not fry it!

I use those Bounty paper towels just like the giant on the front when I use those paper towels I swear my plants grow so much biiger. Actually dropping the seed always takes longer and the roots can get twisted no matter how you point them but thats my thought. Love the show this Walter is tops for us growers loving life and our plants aren't our income.

how long from seed to harvest or veg to harvest?
@walterjones6748 ай бұрын
That really depends on genetics and what strain you choose to grow. Seed to harvest can be anywhere from 70 to 90 days with autoflowers, and with photo periods 3 to 6 months depending on when you want to flip to flower. That's the beauty of photo periods. You have more control of the plant cycle, and with autoflowers, you don't. Now, as far as veg to harvest, you're most likely starting from a clone or a teen plant. If that's the case, then again, you control when you want to flip flower and decide how long of a cycle you want to do.

Chris, you seemed concerned about small pots and organic feeding. Can you explain some more sometime? Thanks I use small pots as well and I also tried organic instead of synganics and it’s not a problem as long as you keep them small/medium size. Once again thanks!
