Nice review, thanks. Does the motor fit on a "floattube " mount? Or is there a mount i need to purchase with it?
@NorbertRenaud4 ай бұрын
@@karelmunnikde6822 you can purchase the kit with a glue on patch that comes with the motor 😉

Norbert! Great review first of all. I'm DYING to purchase one of these. Unfortunately I'm in Florida and they are not available in the US. Is there any way you'd be willing to help facilitate the opportunity to buy one of these and get it to Florida? I'm trying everything and failing miserably. I've fished from a float tube the last 10 years. I currently have an FLTB-5. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks!!! Cliff Willis

Hey bro! Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately they are like unicorns here too…. There is a very bad supply all over Europe, so only if you are in France you are in luck to find one… my guess is that they probably wanted to see how they would sell /and demand the first year of release. They should be available worldwide after… I really home or that would be a real crap move from them.

Hi, Norbert! Finally, I've purchased the FLTB-9 and I must admit that I feel in love with it. As I can see in the video, you tested the motor with a 12V battery... according to the technical specifications, with a 16V battery, it is possible to achieve 32lb of power (which would also lower the consumption). Do you think that in such a case, it could be comparable in performance to a classic 32lb Minn Kota? Weeds are not a problem for me 'cause I don't use to fish in those types of places. Regards!

Interesting about the 16v, not very available in my neck of the woods, but if you do go for a 16, please let me know how it go for you! 🤙

"Hello from France! Firstly, thank you for the video. I would like to know where you found the motor specifications because the manual states that the maximum capacity is 12V. I would also like to boost the motor a bit, but if I open the capsule to examine it, the manufacturer's warranty will be voided. I have seen quite a few videos on the Internet with DIY motors that would turn our float tube into a rocket. I hope that Google Translate will translate my text correctly. Please let us know if you manage to put a 16V battery on the motor 😊."

@@julienwanecque115 I’ll probably will leave it with 12v for the moment. Not easy to find 16V batteries here . I’m pretty happy with the 12 here, does serve me right 😉

Should be possible if you purchase the glued on patch to hold the engine. Best is to check with your local decathlon to be sure of compatibility 😉

I'd use a lithium light weight battery.
