The reason Bale was better (and not by much) is because it was Neymar's first season at Europe(bale played in europe his entire life) and Real Madrid was the best team of the world while Barcelona was passing through a crisis (xavi and iniesta, the heart of the team, was getting old). Plus, Tata Martino did a terrible job with Neymar's position, he had no freedom at all. We saw what Neymar can do when he has more freedom to move and is used to the team he's playing, that is for Santos and Brazil .
