Another awesome video Gareth! What a privilege it is too play with PJ & witness first hand a master at work. I’ve been lucky enough to play with a couple of county pro’s & international players & they really are different class. To see them just rock back & pull a short ball or just hit straight back over the bowlers head is just awesome! Good to see you got a few today as well, it’s not always about belting the ball all over the place. Grantham must be one of those teams that everyone loves to hate too as they clearly think they’re better than they actually are. Don’t get me wrong, they are a good outfit but unfortunately the verbal dross that comes out of some of their mouths is just laughable. Very entertaining to see how quiet they were when you & PJ we’re putting your partnership together. Tried to see your chum Matt Carter at the Rose Bowl on Thursday evening but he disappeared unfortunately before my boys could get his autograph & have a few words with him. You're not the only one, lol. Steve Waugh never played a hook or pull for about 80% of his career, still ave over 50...Practice ducking, particularly weaving, so you can keep your eye on the ball. The Bowler will eventually pitch up, then you play your game...👍

Was great to see you get runs against these guys after the 1st baller last time! Chopsy bunch when on top but shoulders soon slumped when you and PJ dug in! The show down the ground when you were on around 18 I think it was was top! You know your game and where you can or can’t score, it’s a good education piece for young lads to watch your videos based on how you judge line and length from the POV footage!

Looks like PJ is in HOT RED form in this season. It's really sad to see you guys are the losing side after kind of batting display. For you Gareth, i think u need to rotate the strike as u mentioned. it will be easy for you and also for your partner as well. Another 10 or 15 runs added to the total would have been the different results. Anyway good luck for upcoming games. Keep the momentum. Try to build your partnerships around PJ. Unlucky, very tight, but great game. PJ & Will, Master & Apprentice. Good innings, worked hard. Can't see your bat face on the GoPro, but can see your bat handle. Watching it, vertical time & time again showing a Straight bat moving into the ball👍. The Big breath at the start of the innings, I know that feeling, usually goes with some tremors in the hands Adjust my pads, thigh pad when not needed so the opposition don't notice the shakes, lol. How were yours?

Great patient innings Gareth to some tight bowling. Timing looking much better - great work pushing through, and it showed - you looked more effortless on your shots rather than forcing the play. Gotta work on those mid-innings ambitions/confidence though. That spinner at 8:40 sure put some fizz on it! PJ is just an animal for the runs at the moment.
