Sponsorship will come as you get bigger. You just need to focus on getting 1% better with each upload. try leaning into what people want more. Perhaps visitor or city guides. So to become a resource for potential visitors.

I am truly dedicated to learning from each and every video I make - no matter how they "preform", they are always an opportunity for me to learn from what has worked and what has not. I would love to go along the lines you have suggested with guides - I love showcasing the magnificence of what my local area and the places I travel to have offer visitors. I plan on making some top 10 things to do videos, and other similar ideas now that I have several hard drives full of footage I've recorded over the 10 months since starting my channel. I would love to get into partnerships with hospitality & tourism businesses somehow by featuring their hotels/ resorts/ restaurants/ vineyards/ distilleries etc in my videos as I travel , and of course in my local region too. I definitely want to learn how to go about achieving that. I know that people make a whole lifestyle out of that kind of thing and for me, that would be the ultimate dream come true -travelling to amazing locations, staying in amazing hotels & resorts, eating delicious food etc while creating and as ever-improving on each and every video. Best of all, is the sense of community that can be built up - which is what I also want to work on now that my confidence is growing and I have wonderful returning viewers and more new viewers coming each week who appreciate what I am sharing. no idea, I don't have a channel on walking tours. So impossible to know what the analytics would look like on a video by video basis. You would need to do your research to see whats working and where the demand is.

What do you think? I’m planning to start a faceless travel account on KZbin using InVideo or Pictory. However, when I tried exporting a video on the trial version, the quality was very low. Is this the quality people usually post on KZbin, or will it improve once I upload it to the platform? I’m also open to any alternatives, advice, or tips you might have.

Honestly? This is a bad idea. I hear from so many people wanting to start a travel channel. So, there are tons of low quality faceless channels out there now. even with a paid account you need to improve the quality with some editing before uploading if you want to be monetised. Focus on creating videos that actually help people. The days of low effort/quality faceless videos are over, don't waste your time if this is your plan. Don't be generic, fix problems, answer questions, offer value. Good luck

You need to create useful content that fills a need. General top 10 videos etc don't work anymore. It's all about niche angle

A good scriptwriter should do that for you and make notes of references for the editor to refer back to so they can put it in the video

@@garethlamb everyone sais writters cost around 50$ but doing a quick check on upwork shows they all charge per hour not per video. So this can become very expensive. It's kind of misleading when people say hiring a writter is cheap.

If I remember rightly, on was getting images from Getty Images. But I’m sure most of the high quality sites will have footage. Not so much the free sites

Depends if the b roll is all stock footage that is heavily used. You only need to really repurpose if it’s not your footage and many others are doing the same. You basically need to make it original

Depends on the quality of the video and voice. Free clips are always risky unless you are good at editing. You want to add as much value to the video as possible. If YT thinks your videos are low effort and thrown together with the sole purpose of making some money. Then they may not monetise you

Live walking? Like you filming your travels? If it is original content that belongs to you, then you don't have to do a voiceover. It will still be monetised. But you need to ask yourself how interesting a video with no sound will be to viewers.
