Unfortunately Necromancy does not work with his third skill. It doesn’t increase the chance of guts activating or activating a separate guts. However I think CEs that buff success rate will work

I can't say I agree on that A+ grade mostly because while the 80% chance isn't bad, you are still stuck with gambling if he will revive or not and according to finotaisen, you can't influence the success rate of this either. While the upgrade makes the skill more flexible, this hover means you have to find and apply teammates who can continuously apply extra guts on him. And considering challenge quests and bosses have ways to either remove or block buffs in your servants, Kirie won't always have access to his kit which affects his damage by a lot as he is extremely reliant on it. Had the buff been more like Mary and Anne and hijikata where his damage sky rockets by having less HP he would be an act elite tier servant. Summer Ibuki and space Ishtar aren't very fair comparisons since taisui and Kiara can outpace and put perform Kirie especially in the long term fights and fgo content has been going rje extra mile to make sure you don't finish those fights within 3 turns. And in terms of crit damage potential.... Well he is an arts servant so unless you use Gilgamesh caster or protomerlin which even then aren't guarantees, he can't really take advantage of crits in the same way melt can. The better comparisons would've been how does he stack up compared to other alter egos, not a top tier berserker and avenger who barely have much competition to begin with.

These days, it seems that having an arts NP is enough to cross A grade. Some servants like him or Nitocris Alter are probably good at very specific encounters and can do very little outside farming. Castoria has blurred the line between a bad and good servant, and it is quite annoying.

I'd say it's probably because Limbo and Muramasa were summoned as Alter Egos so they kept it the same for consistency. We'll ignore that the other Foreign God servants revealed in Traum weren't though and that Muramasa switched classes when coming to Chaldea, I guess.

Chaldea Muramasa is just Muramasa himself, though. AE Muramasa had some other gods mixed into him. Since Kirei’s kit is dependent on the other gods he’s blended with, he can’t just convert into “pure” Rasputin/Kirei in Chaldea.

Something to note: the CE Necromancy will NOT work with Rasputin’s third skill. It will not increase the chances of activating Guts or chance of activating a separate Guts. I want to say the CE doesn’t work at all for Rasputin but I’m not completely positive about that EDIT: CEs that buff success rate will work however
