Nice review. Thank you. In my mind, the Oupes would be really nice if it just had a 5521 10a 12v output. The EB3A is about perfect in this regard but is still priced a good bit higher. I dont "need" an EB3A but fight the need to just buy one to have one since all of Bluetti's new stuff has poor 12v output options. I have decided that I will never buy a new unit if the only 12v output is a crappy cig outlet. As such, the new AC2A is a crappy unit compared to the EB3A in my opinion.

Nice review as always. The Oupes is an impressive little unit. I would definitely choose this over the EcoFlow and the Bluetti base on solar input which is quite more than ecoflow and bluetti. Forty watts is a big difference on cloudy days which could allow the unit to0 fully charge. I also like that it is the only one that has a 20 amp plug. The fact that it does not have an app does not make a difference to me, especially with something so small in capacity.

I would say the EB3A earns it's higher price tag.

Wow excellent performance and incredible price. I wasn't sure if it was LiFeP04 but it is. No sign of it in the UK yet but looking forward to it happening.

Too bad the 600 Plus doesn't use the same code. I'd prefer the larger capacity battery. But thanks for the review.

Wow! No mention of a 4 hour automatic cut off when no power is detected. That's kinda important to know but it's still a good deal! That's why I never jump on buying new releases - patiently waiting and watching. Cheers!

Yeah I basically forgot to mention it. 🤔 I did test it overnight with my dc fridge and it ran fine without shutting down. Not a great use case for this class of power station though, due to the small capacity.
@skmfkr25 ай бұрын
did you ever test the usb c output? from my research it appears to only be about 20w. fine for phone charging but need 60w for laptop

I have the same power station, but when I have the AC charger plugged in the power station makes a tapping sound. Is that normal?

Thanks for the review and I ordered using your link / promo code. My MAIN question that I keep hunting for is: Can I open this puppy up and swap the tiny LiFePO4 batteries for my 100ah? I'm not looking for a lot of max Watts but I am looking for longer run times. I saw your other video about connecting a LiFePO4 battery to charge a power station, but it would not charge back up. I just figure buying a $140 unit and upsizing its battery myself will save me about 1k on a power station. Obviously I'm going to lose my 3yr warranty but I want this thing to run a 600 Watt load for days even if it's cloudy.
@ReeWrayOutdoors6 ай бұрын
You're definitely not going to fit that 100Ah battery into that little case! :P Might have been easier to buy a small inverter and charge controller to connect to your 100Ah?
@blackft16 ай бұрын
@@ReeWrayOutdoors What charge controller + inverter + outlets would cost less than taking the 600 and swapping in my larger battery? I don't care about fitting it in the case. I just want the functionality of the 600 plus the larger battery without paying $1k for a unit that still won't have 100ah.

Thanks for the breakdown on basic performance. I have seen the Oupes Mega 2 and 3 have super slow charge controllers. Did you see that with this model? Also, do these power station brands pay you extra to make the video or do they just provide the power station in exchange for the video? I've always wondered that, thanks for your hard work!
@ReeWrayOutdoors6 ай бұрын
I can't speak for all the other channels that do this, but I do know many take money to produce reviews. As a matter of personal policy, I do not, because I never want to feel trapped or obligated to recommend something I would not otherwise recommend. By not taking money, if I'm not comfortable recommending a product, I just tell them I'm not doing the video and they can send me a shipping label to return the product and we call it even.
@i_LOVE_solar6 ай бұрын
@@ReeWrayOutdoors I think that's fair. Thanks for being willing to share how you roll haha These videos are probably a ton of work so in my opinion you taking compensation for the videos wouldn't be a bad thing. As long as you are honest about the product to your viewers.
